04.01.2022 Dear students, With the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, I would like to update you with the precautions and hygiene measures taken to ensure the health and safety of all piano students and families. The current guidelines are that anyone who has travelled internationally, or has come into direct contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the previous 14 days must seek medical advice or self-isolate for 14 days. ... The following studio hygiene practices are being implemented: The piano keys are disinfected between every student. Teaching materials, communal areas and surfaces, such as door handles, pencils, whiteboards, markers, bathroom, are disinfected on a daily basis. Students and parents will be asked to use hand sanitiser and/or cleansing wipes prior to entering. A Dyson air purifier is in constant operation to remove airborne particles and pollutants. Disposable paper towels for hand drying in the bathroom will replace hand towels. Students and parents will be asked to remove their shoes before entering. Upon request, a face mask can be worn by the teacher. Students may choose to wear a mask if they wish, however will need to supply their own.
