22.01.2022 T minus 5 days until we are heading off to our 3rd and last event of 2020!!! Doesn’t that just sound off when you put it like that?! What a weird year! Who knew it would actually go this fast though?! Hard to believe my friends in the UK are back in lockdown! I so hope we don’t let it back in Aus so we can continue 2021 as per usual! At this rate the Olympics won’t happen either- although maybe they should all start quarantining now!!

22.01.2022 DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!... jumping on your 10 month old Irish Filly in the paddock- not held- oh...unless she’s as cool as Pippa that is! (Apologies for the unflattering arse shot! As my mum told me it looks like my bum is eating my shorts) ... No animals were harmed in the video! No wine was consumed prior! 15.01.2022 Benny and me having a quick go at some showjumps before we tackle Warwick this weekend! We also went around the xc after this! He was a little legend! He has had most of the year off since he did Toowoomba in March and has only had the last 2 weeks and this as lead up- hence we are only going prelim despite him being a 1* horse. I am so honoured to have the ride on him and hope we can look after each other! Thank you Stef for trusting me with the ride!

14.01.2022 T minus 0 days Time to head to Warwick!! It’s going to be a hoooot weekend But hopefully a great weekend! ... Still got loads to pack! A quick tune up from my dressage coach who has been Awol for a month (I’ve really felt it) throw everything into the float and get on the road! 14.01.2022 Nearly time to pack up and head to Warwick! Excited and keen for a catch up with everyone! Although ha anyone noticed the temperatures forecast Sunday- 36C I’m keen to start at 5.30am if everyone else is not kidding! Anyway here again is Mr Ben that we will be taking with us! Excited to have a nice easy but exciting 2 to ride for the last event of the year!

13.01.2022 Officially Introducing the lovely Amber Amber is a keen horse lover and super enthusiastic to start eventing! She has a memory like an elephant, is a hard worker and is very easy to have around- Ph-ew! She also shares my love of horror movies ... 11.01.2022 Had a ripper weekend at Warwick for the last event of the year! Only my 5th but ah well that’s 2020 for you! Foxy completed her 3rd event and 3rd Intro (80cm) again too quick on xc and so bloody easily! So I am super excited to step her up to prelim beginning of next season! Our SJ wasn’t pretty or easy but it was clear so I couldn’t have been more pleased with her!!! ... here by The J’taime Ben that I Had the honour of campaigning for my friend Stef that has decided to go up north and make some dollar to afford these expensive animals and sport! After 3 weeks together he performed a fabulous dressage but with one discussion dropping the mark- all the same so proud of him especially as he is a typical OTTB that gets pretty anxious in a comp/ warm up environment. He had one rail which was unlucky and a clear but controlled and superb xc with a bit of time. He finished up 13th! He is a legend and we had so much fun together! Gosh it made me miss riding Jet! Ben is like a blended horse of both Halo & Jet! I get to event him next season! And then we can go 1* and see where we go from there! Until his human mumma can come ride him! Gorgeous Miss Foxy finished 10th and I couldn’t have been more proud of how she handled herself on the Warwick Xc! Bring on the higher levels and a Challenge !! 07.01.2022 Little brave Foxy! . I was worried that she would be spooky and nervous in the woods at Warwick but I had no reason to worry! She was a so so brave and bold! She is currently having a little break before schooling for next year! I miss her already- but she deserves a break, she is only just turning 6- just a baby. Time to concentrate on some other ponies...who else is concentrating on others over the summer? Or are you instead going to train like crazy? It has been a... weird Covid- 2020! I’m a little worried that we are expecting 2021 to be normal! 07.01.2022 I may make an eventer of Chevvy yet! It’s only taken like 3 years to get this pony to jump! I have tried and given up in the past and just not even bothered to try for well over a year- probably longer! But he is such a little legend and I’d so love to get him out eventing. I’m not sure quite yet if this was a one off or his fear of getting lift off over the strange coloured poles may be here to stay?!!? ... Next step will be to try and get him out xc! I’m hoping he’ll be a pony that is less spooky over rustic fences- I can’t see him being overly excited about jumping gaping holes in the ground (aka ditches) but horses will never cease to surprise us!
