25.01.2022 We are finally home after our four day cattle adventure. Congratulations to the Turnham Family at Waratah Speckle Park Stud for such a successful sale yesterday. The Waratah Speckle Park Genetic Vault Sale is sure to be a game changer for the Speckle Park breed and for many studs both established and developing. We were the successful bidders of two of the lots offered and we are so excited to bring these new and exciting genetics to our herd.

The cattle were extremely well presented and of such high quality and consistency. It is a true credit to all involved of the quality lineup of cattle that was offered today. We were fortunate enough to be a successful bidder today and we are so excited to bring these new and exciting genetics to our herd.

13.01.2022 What a year this is turning out to be. Today's announcement of the cancellation of The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria 's Royal Melbourne Show really hit home for us. We have been spectators for quite a few years now and this year was going to be the first time that we would be exhibitors. After the cancellation of Royal Agricultural Society of NSW 's Sydney Royal Easter Show, we have been focused and determined to have our cattle prepared and ready for Melbourne. We look forward to catching up with our fellow exhibitors next year. Fingers crossed that the Royal Bathurst Show can still go ahead!

06.01.2022 To say the least, we are absolutely gutted. The Sydney Royal Easter Show was going to be the debut for us exhibiting under the 8 Mile prefix. This wasn't just a show for us, it was a whole year of planning and preparation. We really liked our junior female team that was entered and we hope that you do to.

04.01.2022 This cheeky heifer calf isn't even a month old but has decided that despite her dam having a lot of milk, she would try her luck with the other females, even if some of them were empty heifers. Surprisingly the other females all let her do it!
