15.01.2022 If you haven’t heard of the Great Ocean Walk, now is the time to get acquainted. It's is a one-way, long-distance walk extending east to west (just over 100km) ...between Apollo Bay and the iconic Twelve Apostles near Princetown. You can do the walk in sections, you don’t have to complete the whole walk on the one trip and if camping is not your thing you could bribe some friends to pick you up each night or contact one of the local licensed tour operators for a package. http://fal.cn/Ag6q @goneinsideout on Instagram.

15.01.2022 Start at the Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve Visitors Center and embark on one of four self-guided walks around the park. Check out the 'Peak Climb' walk which tak...es you on a steep walk with rewarding panoramic views of the park and coast. Alternatives include the 'Lava Tongue Boardwalk' and the 'Wagon Bay Loop' which are far more gentle walks. The longest of the four walks is the 'Journey to the Last Volcano' which is moderately strenuous. If you're lucky you might be wandering down the hill behind another family like the Emus pictured. There is plenty of wildlife to see around the park but remember to keep your distance as we are visitors in their homes. http://go.vic.gov.au/AbvK27 @wunderland.fotografie

02.01.2022 The sun continues to rise, winter will flow into spring and summer again. If we get this right we might yet be able to spread our wings again in 2020. Perhaps w...ith a greater appreciation and connection to the wild nature and simple things that sustain and inspire us all. Melbourne and Mitchell shire we are feeling the pain of your restrictions emotionally, philosophically and economically but we know why it has to happen. Stay strong, stay safe! Regional Victorians please have your licence ready at accomodation check in and when intending to eat in at restaurants and 12 Apostles Gourmet Trail businesses. Help our businesses to keep their staff and our community safe by not travelling if you are unwell, respecting social distancing, wearing a mask in situations where you cannot maintain physical distancing and doubling down on hand hygiene. We thank you for your business and support and are working hard together to ensure your winter holiday is one to remember for all the right reasons. #bookahead #bookdirect #booknowplaylater www.visit12apostles.com.au #stayanotherday #bookasneakymidweeky See more
