15.01.2022 Breaking news: Seaspray resident Col Stephenson became an unexpected wildlife warrior at about 8am today when he came across three beached dolphins during his d...aily morning check of the beach. Two of the dolphins managed to free themselves but Col, with some help from two of his three children Charlotte and Leo, was luckily able to gently help the third dolphin return to the ocean and a small crowd watched as the rescued dolphin returned to a much more familiar environment. The rare beaching occurred near Merrimans Creek and Col suspects the dolphins were chasing mullet at the creek entrance when they found themselves in a spot of bother.
