22.01.2022 #Repost @shantichaiwaali _Tea Education Post_ Swipe for some magic ( ) I found this Blooming Tea Ball in the sample box at work. ... . Some years ago I had tried a Flowering Tea at a very beautiful local cafe and dint come across it again until now. . What is a Blooming Tea? It is a ball of tea made with a bit of technicality. Basically, a choice of edible flowers wrapped inside mostly Green or White Tea leaves. . When you steep it in boiling water the ball starts to bloom into a flower. Which is quite amusing to people like myself who either love tea or have a childlike heart or both!! . When the ball blooms you see a beautiful layer of flowers. The tea I tried this time looked like it had Hibiscus flowers but definitely had Jasmine Flowers. It was so pretty when it bloomed that I dint want to drink it. But, I also had to taste it, so I did! All I will say is, divine! It had a nice refreshing taste. And I did not just get one serve out of it, got a few and each time the taste of Jasmine flowers got better! . If I ever get a chance, and work out the process of making a Flowering/Blooming Tea, I 100% will!!! . Afterall, "Where Flowers Bloom, So Does Hope." . See more

17.01.2022 A little about 95Degrees & me. . I grew up loving, knowing and valuing the goodness of Spices or in Hindi youd say Masale. In our family a lot of conversations are around Masala. Haldi (Turmeric) & Chaat Masala are at the top of my uncles quick fixes for almost everything! Growing up I learnt a lot about my Grandfathers cooking. Some of his signature dishes are magical mainly due to his Art of creating beautiful aromatic blends that not only taste delicious but make yo...u feel extremely warm. You can feel the loooovvve! The interesting part is that I have never met him but I am hugely inspired by his cooking just by tasting the recipes that he passed on. . I feel like there are a lot of spices that are underrated. They do not get the recognition they deserve. Through 95Degrees, I want to add as much as I possibly can to create that awareness and spread the Shanti, Pyaar & Masala from my heart to yours! . The love of Masala is also what inspires me to create tea blends. I dont think there is anything more refreshing, warming and loving than a large pot of tea. A cup is never enough. How I steep my tea is very important to me. A lot of my favourite teas are best brewed at the temperature of 95 . I have a lot of exciting things coming Stay tuned for more See more

14.01.2022 #Repost @shantichaiwaali I have a secret to share! Swipe to see more ( ) .... The Acai Berry Tisane is a mix of carefully selected berries! It has a sweet & tangy flavour! Along with many other benefits it helps with sugar cravings! It is all natural and has no added sugar! I dont think you even need any in it! . But, theres something that can really level up the blend! To convert it into a choccy-berry blend, you can add a heaped tablespoonful of Cacao Nibs! It is super important to use good quality cacao. I like to use @powersuperfoods organic Cacao Nibs! . There are two ways to steep them! Either mix with the blend and infuse it all together or put the cacao nibs in the boiled water directly leave them in the water while the blend is steeping in it and dont strain them. You can chew on them while you sip your tisane (thats the favourite part of the secret)! Using this method will give you the full choc-berry blast. If you love dark chocolate, you are going to love this! . The choc-berry aroma will fill your heart will love . Can you tell how much I love this? . We are talking dessert in a teapot! . . #tea #tisane #veganfriendly #plantbased #berries #berrylove #cacao #acaiberry #acaitisane #chocberry #lovetea #tealover #tealovers #chailover #chai #sydneytea #love #peace #shantipyaarmasala See more

13.01.2022 #Repost @shantichaiwaali _Tea Education Post _ So, whats this Acai Berry Tisane? .... Acai Berry Tisane is an organic & caffeine free blend of berries, leaves and fruit peel. It is tea but not in technical terms because it does not contain any actual tea leaves. When you open the pack you will find a green grassy-leafy looking blend with crushed berries and whole goji berries along with flower petals. And, the aroma would be somewhat like a berry cake with flower petals! Youd want to eat it! Try your best not to pick the goji berries to snack on. You gotta save them for the infusion. . You steep it into fully boiled water and leave it for the tisane to turn red in colour when you stir it. Now is the time to pick the goji berries and eat them!!! Spoiler alert: they are now more delicious than you thought! . Then we move to what to do with the serving that has been steeped already? Na, please dont throw it! Pour another cup of boiling water and get another serve out of them. The flavour might not be as strong but it will still be strong enough to taste delicious. Even better if you steep it in a tea pot, then add more water for the second serve, so that the blend keeps working on its magic while you are on your first cup of tisane. . So, is that all you can do with it? Na! Theres more! Theres more coming in one of my next posts! 11.01.2022 Elderberry Tisane . My first and recent video was a detailed description of how to make your Elderberry Tisane. If you missed it, it is still available in the Highlights of our @95degreesteasandtisanes Instagram page. . I would highly suggest to only use organically grown/sourced Elderberries as you want them to be free from chemical sprays and artificial growth stimulants. My preferred brand is @healingconceptsaustralia Organic Elderberries which can be bought from @cocosw...ealthofhealth online or in store. You can see the packet in the video. . As a sweetener, you are most welcome to add unprocessed, raw & organic honey. . For clove, I would not recommend using more than 2 buds in a tablespoon of berries and same with the mint, little goes a long way. . For other ingredients you can play around and add to taste, as mentioned in the video. . For someone who can get hit by allergies, anything that is naturally anti-inflammatory works a great deal. Hence, I picked to elaborate this particular Tisane that I like to include in my change of season food & beverage list. . My next video is on its way . I hope you enjoy and try our blends. . Always try to support local when buying your ingredients & don't forget, the most important ingredients - Shanti (Peace) & Love (Pyaar) and then comes the Masala (Spice). . . #teasandtisanes #elderberries #elderberry #elderberrybenefits #seasonalchange #healthfood #healthyliving #healthfoodsydney #teatime #teagirl #veganfriendly #naturalandorganic #naturemade #taketimeforyou #selfcare #lookafteryourself #shantipyaarmasala

06.01.2022 #Repost @shantichaiwaali _Tea Education Post _ There are many different varieties of tea, however they all come from the same plant. One thing we all get wrong is, if a tea isnt black or Earl Grey then it must be Green. No. Not all non-black teas are green. ... To name a few and the most popular tea varieties out there are: Black Tea Green Tea White Tea Oolong Tea Puerh & Yellow Tea The temperature of water that you steep them in is different due to the difference in how delicate their leaves are. Some teas are best steeped at 95C. Two such examples are Green & Oolong Tea. Others are best at 90C But, the two teas that need 100C are Puerh & Black Tea. So, when you add Shanti Masala Chai to water, especially on a stove top, make sure the water is fully boiled. That helps unfurl the leaves correctly and brings out the best flavour. The exact suggested time is 4.5minutes but everyone likes it different. For me, I like it exact. . After black tea, my favourite tea is Oolong which is why I call my brand 95 . See you again in the next post
