08.01.2022 Normally at this time, those of us that enter the show, would be running round and working out what exhibits we would be putting together for the show weekend a...t the end of October. We obviously can't gather to exhibit and admire peoples entries this year, so how about throughout October we post photos of what we might have entered instead. Flowers, gardens, vegetables, tea cosies, hanging baskets, natives, trees, dressed up vegetables, trees, cakes...let's see what you have got :)

03.01.2022 1st of the month and it being October, means it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. I ask that you do me 1 favour this month and that’s get your boobies checked by a GP this month and then get into a routine of regularly doing your own self checks of them once a month. if you never have done a check or been checked please get it done, don’t wait until you are 40, I was 36 when diagnosed and I know of young ladies who have died in their 20’s from breast cancer because of the age ...old myth that you get checked from 40. We need to break that mentality, cancer does not give a rats ass about how old you are. Then tell 1 other lady friend to do the same and then check your gents boobies to, because men do get breast cancer to and then ask them to ask someone else to get checked and so on......that’s how we can create awareness, and we can try to prevent other’s having to go through breast cancer treatments. Early detection is the key to survival. Now Go, what are you waiting for, no time like the present Please share this post to help create awareness this month Each day throughout October I will be posting information about breast cancer- so you won’t forget and you will remember to get checked. This means that approximately 20,168 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, an average of 55 people every day. ... Due to Covid, men and women have been delaying their screenings and checks, this has Doctors worried that people are going untreated for something that could be treatable and life saving. Early detection is the key to survival, don’t delay a breast check any longer, it could just save your life. Share with a sister, friend, colleague, neighbour and help to create breast awareness.

02.01.2022 As of today the number of visitors to your home will increase from two to 15 per day. That can be split across different times ten for lunch, and five for dinner as long as people are sticking to a total of 15. Outdoor gatherings in a public place the park, the beach will increase to 50.... For those couples who’ve had to delay their special day, weddings will increase to 150 people. The same number will apply to funerals and religious ceremonies indoors. There’ll be changes for our hospitality sector too. For smaller venues, the density limit will change to one person for every two square metres up to 50 customers. QR code record keeping will be mandatory. For bigger venues, the density limit will stay the same, but the cap will increase to 150. Total venue capacity will also rise to 300. Cinemas, galleries and museums will also be able to host up to 150 people indoors. And in good news for community clubs, contact and non-contact sports can begin for adults as well as kids 150 people indoors with a group size of up to 20 and 500 outdoors with groups of up to 50. Organisers will also be able to apply to host a public event. Different requirements and rules will need to apply, depending on whether it’s a school fete or a major sporting match. We’re also able to begin a phased approach for staff heading back to the office. From 30 November, up to 25 per cent of workers will be able to attend onsite. Unless you’re one of those people nominated by your employer you need to keep working from home. We're also making some changes to the rules around masks. In short, you’ll still need to wear one when you’re indoors and on public transport and where you can’t keep your distance. But if you’re outdoors and you can keep a safe distance, masks will no longer be mandatory. For example, you’ll still need to keep your mask on if you’re at a busy outdoor market or in line for a snag at your local Bunnings. If you’re headed for a quiet stroll around the neighbourhood, you won’t need to wear a mask but you will need to carry one, in case the situation changes
