24.01.2022 Happy birthday to our beautiful Phoebe! I am so thankful for her taking Farmer Brenton off my hands She is learning that it’s not always easy being a farmers wife, late nights, more jobs to do than hands and something always pressing to do when you want to go out! But she has embraced being a farmers wife with ease and has a love for our way of life and what we do. So glad she is part of our family!
24.01.2022 Things you can do in the Lockyer Valley. At this stage we are not doing our once a month tours but our farm gate sales are still open for you to stock up on your eggs, chicken and fish!
24.01.2022 Angus doing some overseeing of the hay baling. Looks like he has learnt where the start switch is #farmkids
22.01.2022 Good news Gold Coast! You can now purchase our beautiful fresh pasture raised eggs at @firmnfresh Thanks to Eric and his team for supporting sustainable and ethical farming!
22.01.2022 See you at @ipswichgoodfoodgroup this afternoon from 4-6.30pm!
21.01.2022 A bit of a surprise that the crossing coming into the farm has gone under with a bit of localised flooding. It won’t last long but it all helps to refill our underground water. Excited for more now! Be aware, lots of rain and flood shots coming your way. Not sorry
20.01.2022 Tilly is out of her confinement since being a very naughty girl and getting run over! Looks like she is as good as new. The only after effects so far is our bank balance!!! #naughtykelpie
19.01.2022 OMG! Thank goodness it was my phone he left the message on and not someone else’s! Apologies in advance to anyone who receives one of Farmer Dave’s accidental phone calls while he’s learning to use his ear drops

18.01.2022 Looks like someone is getting bored in lockdown!
18.01.2022 Loading up our next delivery to south Australia. The paperwork is almost ridiculous and he wasn’t happy with the old Covid stick it up your nose test! Anyway, Farmer Brenton will be on the road in a few hours.
18.01.2022 Haha! I don’t think they appreciated being woken up! Reminds me of waking the five kids when they were little
17.01.2022 This photo never gets old! Christopher was always the mischievous one of the boys, always pushing the boundaries! Climbing on the roof when he was 2, burnt his bum cheeks on the fireplace trying to warm them! Wheelies on the tractor!
16.01.2022 Great news for those of you who have not been in our delivery areas! We are now participating in the "Reko" groups on facebook. They are specific pages set up for growers and makers to market our produce to the community. Different areas have their own facebook page and there is a specific day and time to meet in these areas to collect your orders, some without even leaving your vehicle! So far we have Ipswich, Dayboro, Samford and Red Hill. Just join the facebook page for your area and it explains the whole process. Check out these pages and join to learn more https://www.facebook.com/groups/3073824286055276 https://www.facebook.com/groups/906314449843598 https://www.facebook.com/groups/1460220437484253 https://www.facebook.com/groups/315318533058713

13.01.2022 Farmer Brenton working up the ground after baling the oat hay crop. It’s dry and dusty and we are in desperate need of rain, good rain, flooding rain! All that dirt and dust is headed for the houses. This is the time that farming women need the patience of a saint and a medal! #prayforrain
13.01.2022 Farmer Dave checking out his crop like a mother fussing over her baby! Happy farmer
13.01.2022 Stop shaking the bike clucker!

12.01.2022 Happy 1st birthday to our precious farm boy Angus. You will see many pictures of Angus in the years ahead and you may notice that Angus will not be growing the same as other children and we would like to share with you why. Angus was born with achondroplasia, a type of dwarfism. As Angus gets older his differences will become more obvious. There are over 200 different types of dwarfism. Achondroplasia occurs in 1 in 20,000 to 40,000 births. Over 80% of children born with ...achondroplasia are born to average height parents as a result of a random gene mutation. Dwarfism does not affect a persons intelligence. Although Angus will have some challenges ahead we believe with love and support from his dad and mum (Farmer Brenton and Phoebe) and his extended family and friends and our wider farming community, he can overcome all obstacles to achieve great things. We are thankful everyday for the joy and blessings Angus brings to us! See more

06.01.2022 Fresh fish available tomorrow at the @toowoombafarmersmarket! Sustainably grown fish and you know where it comes from!
06.01.2022 Quality control is taken seriously at 9Dorf’s! This chicken is from our new flock of layers and while they are being trained we have them down near the sheds for convenience. So this little hen escapes the enclosure each day and heads into the shed to see what’s going on. She refuses to go away!
05.01.2022 Lighting up the old farm house with a bit of Christmas spirit! Farmer Dave’s grandparents settled in this house back in 1918. It was built in 1906. These walls have been filled with much love and laughter, a few tears and a million stories! I love where I live! No place like home. #farmhouse
05.01.2022 All set up and ready to go at @toowoombafarmersmarket at the @cobbandcomuseum in Toowoomba this morning. My trusty side kick Tyson is manning the stall again today, so head on down and show him so love! One more week and I should be back on deck. This shingles virus has been hard to shake unfortunately.
04.01.2022 Big boppers eggs are back in force! Get yourself to the @toowoombafarmersmarket before they sell out!
02.01.2022 Now that’s a nice Murray cod!
01.01.2022 Egg on the left extra large, egg on the right ouch!
01.01.2022 What the 9Dorf boys do while their wives aren’t looking! #farmkids
