19.01.2022 Blast from the past. Tony Folkman cutting Mark Roach's hair. Mark & Grant ran the Auto Pro parts shop next to the Barber shop when I started my apprenticeship with my father Leon Paterson. This says it was Tony's last haircut in 1976.....Leon Paterson & Ian Adams took over the business after Tony retired.....I didn't start my apprenticeship until 1988.

08.01.2022 Hi all, hope you are all doing OK in these surreal times. We are still OPEN for business and are abiding by government regulation as required. For Monday & Tuesday we have 2 Barbers working .... For Wednesday & Thursday we have 3 Barbers working before the Easter break. With the restriction of how many people that are allowed in the shop we are taking phone numbers of customers & you can wait in your car until it's your turn for a All chairs & equipment are sanitized between customers & our hands washed. Anyone with colds etc ,stay home so we remain healthy & it eliminates anxiety for all. We are HERE for those that need to & would like their hair to remain tidy during these times & we really appreciate your support to keep our doors open , so thank you very much. 07.01.2022 Well,he has past his probation period & must like hanging out with us so we at Haydn's Barber Shop would like to officially welcome Jared Palmer our 1st year apprentice who is undertaking Certificate 3 in Barbering. Jared is another local lad with family roots here, started with us in July & has already started at trade school & will be doing crew cuts in the lead up to Christmas in the newly created 4th chair. Congratulations Jared !

07.01.2022 Well,where did those 3 years go ! This young man has come a long way & being the first to complete Certificate lll in Barberingin Port Lincoln since its return as a trade pathway in over 30 years.Wade is putting out some awesome haircuts/face shaves & has grown from a quiet fellow to finding his groove & voice to become a vital role in the Barber Shop today. It's such a pleasure to see our industry provide jobs for our youth, which helps us serve our customers better & benefits our local economy while ultimately giving Wade an occupation where in a few years he can pursue his desire to travel with the skills he has developed. Congratulations Wade.

This is a great opportunity for Ivanka to broaden her skill set,making her multi talented in her trade whilst helping the Barbershop service our loyal customers and keep the waiting time down. 3 barbers cutting everyday except Tuesday morning.
