25.01.2022 Who doesn't love a good salad when prawns are included?!? Try this delicious salad today! Recipe can be found here INGREDIENTS 300 g Cooked and Peeled Prawns medium Avocado 4 cup Spinach... 1 medium Mango 2 tsp Sweet Chilli Sauce 2 tbsp Reduced Fat Coconut Milk 1 tbsp Lime Juice 360 g Cooked Wholemeal Pasta METHOD Step 1 Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, then set to the side. Step 2 Take the avocado mango and dice into small chunks. Step 3 In a small bowl, mix together the sweet chilli sauce, coconut milk, and lime juice. Step 4 Take two large bowls, and divide all of the ingredients evenly between them. Toss to combine. Step 5 Finish with a drizzle of dressing, then dig in!

24.01.2022 Oats with a twist to kickstart your morning! Vanilla and Orange zesty oats! INGREDIENTS 50 g Vanilla Whey Protein Powder 1 cup Uncooked Rolled Oats... 1 tbsp Raw Walnuts 1 cup Blueberries 1 tbsp Orange Zest 1 tsp Vanilla Extract METHOD Step 1 Add the oats to a saucepan, cover with water, then place over a medium heat. Step 2 Stir and cook oats for 2-3 minutes or until desired consistency is reached. Step 3 Take off the heat and transfer oats to a bowl. Step 4 Stir in the vanilla whey protein powder. Step 5 Add orange zest and vanilla extract and mix well. Step 6 Top with fresh berries and walnuts, then dig in!

As per yesterdays announcement (2nd August 2020) by the Victorian government, from Midnight the 5th August Regional Victoria will move to stage 3 lockdown and Melbourne Metropolitan and Mitchell Shire will be moving to stage 4 government lockdowns. 19.01.2022 Looking for a refreshing and light lunch or dinner? Try this Baked Salmon with Ginger and Greens! Recipe below INGREDIENTS 100 g Salmon 2 cup Cooked Brown Rice... 5 tbsp Slivered Almonds 1 cup Green Beans 2 cup Broccoli Florets 1 small knob Ginger 1 clove Garlic 1 tbsp Coriander whole Lemon METHOD Step 1 Pre-heat oven to 180C/360F. Step 2 Cook the rice as per packet instructions. Step 3 Combine finely chopped ginger, garlic, fresh coriander and juice of half a lemon in a small bowl and mix well. Step 4 Place the salmon on aluminium foil and drizzle lemon herb mix over the top. Step 5 Wrap the salmon loosely in foil and bake for 13-15 minutes. Step 6 Steam or boil the green beans and broccoli florets for 5-6 minutes, until cooked through but still bright and crunchy. Step 7 Serve the salmon over cooked brown rice with green beans and broccoli. Top greens with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of slivered almonds, then dig in!

18.01.2022 Wanting a choc chip muffin but dont want to bake? Why not try our Choc Chip Mug Cake INGREDIENTS 1 medium sized ripe banana, mashed 2 eggs... 1 tsp vanilla paste or essence 4 tbs almond meal 2 scoops protein powder of your choice (whey, hemp, pea etc.) 1 tbs milk of your choice (dairy, almond, coconut etc.) 2 tbs dark chocolate chips (72% or higher) METHOD In a mixing bowl whisk together mashed banana, eggs and vanilla. Mix in almond meal, protein powder and milk. If mixture is too thick add a little extra milk until you reach a cake batter consistency. Fold through chocolate chips. Divide batter evenly between two standard size coffee mugs. Place in microwave and cook for 90 seconds or until cake is cooked and springs back to touch. Serve with a spoonful of yoghurt or a scoop of ice cream for an extra treat.

16.01.2022 Try these waffles with a twist INGREDIENTS 2 small zucchini... 1 1/2 cups almond meal 1/4 cup tapioca/arrowroot flour 1 tbs coconut flour 1 tsp baking powder 2 eggs, separated 3/4 cup almond milk 2 tbs coconut oil, melted pinch salt and cracked black pepper You will need a waffle iron to make this recipe METHOD Grate zucchini and squeeze out excess water. You can do this by placing zucchini into some paper towel or clean kitchen cloth and ringing out excess water. Add grated zucchini, almond meal, arrowroot flour, coconut flour, baking powder, almond milk, coconut oil, egg yolks and salt and pepper into a bowl. Whisk together until well combined. In a separate bowl whisk egg whites to form soft peaks. Fold whipped egg whites carefully into the batter. Heat and grease waffle iron. When ready to use, spoon batter into iron and follow cooking directions for your machine. These waffles are great with some poached eggs and bacon.

INGREDIENTS 1 cup Reduced Fat Milk 8 tbsp Nutritional Yeast Flakes... 210 g Reduced Fat Feta Cheese 4 medium Zucchini 2 cup Sliced Mushrooms 2 cup Frozen Peas 2 cup Broccoli Florets 2 medium Onion 1 serve Salt and Pepper 6 tbsp Balsamic Glaze 6 extra large Eggs 1050 g Sweet Potato 1260 g White Potato METHOD Step 1 Preheat the oven to 180C/360F. Step 2 Start by dicing the potatoes, zucchinis, mushrooms, broccoli and onion. Step 3 In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, nutritional yeast, and salt and pepper to taste. Step 4 Place the vegetables in a large oven dish, then pour over the egg and milk mixture. Step 5 Finish by crumbling the feta cheese on top, then place in the oven. Step 6 Cook for 30-40 minutes, until cooked through and the feta is golden. Step 7 Allow to cool slightly, then divide into 6 serves and drizzle each with balsamic glaze, then dig in!

INGREDIENTS 400 g Chicken Breast 7 cup Cooked Quinoa... 20 whole Cherry Tomatoes 2 cup Rocket 1 medium Cucumber 1 medium Capsicum cup Spring Onions 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar 1 whole Lemon 1 cup Feta Cheese METHOD Step 1 Cook the quinoa as per packet instructions. Step 2 Roughly chop the chicken breast. Step 3 Spray a frying pan with olive oil and place over a medium heat. Step 4 Place the chicken in the pan. After 5 minutes, squeeze the juice of half a lemon over chicken and continue to cook for a futher 5 minutes or until cooked through. Step 5 Halve the cherry tomatoes and finely dice the cucumber, capsicum, spring onion and parsley. Step 6 In a large bowl, combine the quinoa, salad vegetables and parsley. Add the lemon chicken and mix again. Step 7 Sprinkle feta over the top and dress with balsamic vinegar, then enjoy.

06.01.2022 Why not try this delicious winter warmer - Lemon Barramundi with Pumpkin Wedges INGREDIENTS 420 g Barramundi Fillets 4 cup Cooked Quinoa... 2 medium Tomato 1 medium Leek whole Lemon 1 tsp Dried Oregano 1 tsp Dried Thyme 1 cup Pumpkin Wedges 1 serve Salt and Pepper METHOD Step 1 Cook quinoa as per packet instructions. Step 2 Preheat oven to 180C/360F. Step 3 Cut pumpkin into wedges and place in a large bowl. Dice the tomatoes and leek. Step 4 Season the pumpkin with salt and pepper, toss to coat and place on a oven tray lined with baking paper. Place in the oven for approximately 25-30 minutes. Step 5 Prepare 2 large sheets of aluminium foil and spray each with oil. Place a fish fillet on each sheet. Step 6 In a separate bowl combine diced tomatoes and leek, a tablespoon of lemon juice, oregano and thyme. Step 7 Spoon a few tablespoons of mixture over each fillet. Step 8 Wrap the fillets in foil making sure each is sealed. Step 9 Place on an oven tray and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. Step 10 Serve barramundi on a bed of quinoa with pumpkin chips and a wedge of lemon. Enjoy!

Try this healthy Summer Pineapple Salad INGREDIENTS 4 cup Canned Black Beans 3 cup Canned Brown Lentils... 2 tbsp Flaxseeds 2 tbsp Crushed Walnuts 2 cup Chopped Pineapple 4 cup Baby Spinach 2 medium Cucumber 2 medium Tomato 4 tbsp Lemon Juice 1 tbsp Maple Syrup METHOD Step 1 Drain and rinse the black beans and lentils. Step 2 Dice the pineapple, cucumber, and tomato. Step 3 In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice and maple syrup. Step 4 Take a large bowl, add the beans, lentils, pineapple, spinach, cucumber, tomato and dressing. Toss to combine. Step 5 Sprinkle with flaxseeds and crushed walnuts, then dig in!

02.01.2022 CAULIFLOWER IS A GREAT LOW CARB AND GLUTEN FREE SUBSTITUTE FOR MANY OF YOUR FAVORITE MEALS. THIS FIBER FILLED VEGGIE CAN BE TURNED INTO PIZZA CRUST, MAC & CHEESE, OR FRIED RICE! CREATING THIS SUBSTITUTE FOR RICE IS AS SIMPLE AS COOKING A CUP OF RICE. Ingredients: 1 head of cauliflower, (about 2 cups chopped in a food processor) 2 Tbs sesame oil... 1 small white onion, chopped 1 cup peas and carrots mixture 2-3 Tablespoons soy sauce (more or less to taste) 2 eggs, lightly beaten 2 Tbsp chopped green onions (optional) INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Break the cauliflower into florets and put into a food processor. Pulse until the cauliflower until it is small and resembles rice. If you do not have a food processor, you can finely chop the cauliflower. 2) Preheat a large skillet or wok to medium heat. Add sesame oil and white onion. Cook until the onions are clear. 3) Add peas and carrots and fry until tender. 4) Slide the veggies to the side, and pour the eggs onto the other side. Using a rubber spatula, scramble the eggs. Once cooked, mix the eggs and the vegetables together. 5) Add the finely chopped cauliflower to the veggie and egg mixture. Pour the soy sauce on top of the mixture and stir and fry the mixture until heated through and cauliflower is tender. 6) Add chopped green onions and serve the rice alone or pair with your favourite protein for a filling meal.
