11.01.2022 When the tune-writin' bug bites you grab whatever instrument is at arms length...in this case, a pint-sized black Valencia nylon string guitar, suitable for ages 6-9yrs. Hehe. It has its own charm... ;)

09.01.2022 Songwriting occurs in the strangest of places. In this case, my bathroom whilst bathing the kids! Have been putting chords to the rough vocal melody recordings ...I did in a backyard in Spain Barbara Ghidini so that Orri Orr and I can have some fresh tunes for Junction Arts Festival. The kid's reactions to the new piece: Harper: (dancing in the bath and playing air guitar) I love it! It's beautiful! Frankie: Hmmm..it's...something... (pauses for what felt like a long 30 seconds!)...It's good. Yea, it's good. She's hard to please ole Bun. Hahaha.

06.01.2022 Kitchen sessions are the best sessions... . . Looking forward to hearing Orri make this 60+yr old guitar sing with lush amplification. Invoking a bit of Welch & Rawlings magic on a couple of new tunes.... The Fountain Bar, September 7th, @junctionartsfestival 7pm See junction site for tickets Suse. X
06.01.2022 A couple of years ago Justin Orri Orr and I sat and recorded a jam to a song we love by The Cure. Enjoy...
