12.01.2022 Sit and Stitch 2020! Bring along any type of stitching - hand, machine, crochet, knitting..... Bring your friends, ideas, questions and enthusiasm....... The Old Stables in Alice Street, Mittagong is the beautiful home to A Fine Line Quiltery. The groups are casual and friendly. Facilities are available for storing and heating food if you wish to bring a meal and naturally, we'll provide bottomless tea/coffee/biscuits. Fee of $25 for each session include use of cutting mats, rotary cutters, rulers, iron and crockery. You can post quilt tops or bring them to the studio. If you’d prefer not coming in, I completely understand! You can knock on the door, leave your quilt top and then I'll bring it inside. We can discuss quilt design choices and thread by a phone call or text or simply attach a note. 08.01.2022 Congratulations to my 12 year old daughter! Her very first quilt as a school holiday(s) project to prevent boredom . She chose quilt top design and purchased the fabrics, decided their arrangement, learned to sew them in the correct order and chose a complimentary quilting design. The binding was too much of a challenge and the mere thought of hand-sewing started the rolling so we compromised.... Immensly proud of you sweetheart . I have a stack of UFO's..... ooopss
