24.01.2022 ... and so the weeks have gone by but thankfully only a few more sleeps until my markets restart. I have been very productive with a new design for our perpetual calendar. This is quite an achievement as it's been many years and many pairs of glasses since the last one was made. One mm out with the measurements and it doesn't work, so precision is paramount. Each calendar will come with 31 date tiles, 6 double-sided month tiles and two extra double-sided tiles depicting 4... events. Orders only at this stage so DM me if you would like further information and pricing. Can't wait to be back at the markets and I'll post markets dates asap.

23.01.2022 It's Australia Day long weekend so get your thongs on! It may just be a pair, two pairs for you and a friend or for an entire family - how ever many, we've got it made. I'll have mine on for this busy weekend with Sacred Tree Markets on tomorrow evening on Nelson Bay foreshore 4 - 9pm Saturday is the beginning of a road trip north with Tuncurry markets 8 - 1pm. Sunday you'll find me in Port Macquarie at the Town Green 8 - 3. Safe travels to whichever place you're going and please support local businesses.

23.01.2022 Spring is here so it's time to throw open the doors and let the sea breeze in ... or let your decor reflect the beach with new wall art. These and many more will be available at Homegrown at the Station this Saturday 9 - 2. Christmas shopping - all sorted.

22.01.2022 I love being outdoors so do most of my painting outside due to light and better drying conditions. It has been so lovely working next to this pot of freesias with their heavenly scent whilst preparing stock for Terrigal Beach Markets this Sat 9-3. 21.01.2022 I think I'm missing a day this week - it can't be Friday already! That's because I have been so busy making new stock. I'm excited to be back at Warner's Bay Market tomorrow close to the new produce area - come and check it out! Legacy Market at Fly Pt. is where you will find me on Sunday weather permitting.

18.01.2022 It's always disappointing when markets are cancelled due to rain but how lovely is it to hear and see those raindrops. I'm using this time creatively to explore new ideas. What are your doing today?

17.01.2022 Inspired by a recent pic from a friend trying to identify some coastal birds - this artwork using sea glass is just too cute! This and many more beach and lake decor items will be available on Sunday at Homegrown market Speers Pt. Park from 10 - 2. We are COVID 19 safe and request that you follow the guidelines of social distancing, sanitising and remaining at home if not feeling well so we can all remain safe.

17.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2020 is going to be sensational with my penchant for double numbers! So many new exciting products and venues are being developed and explored. This weekend I'll be at Sacred Tree Markets on Nelson Bay foreshore 4 - 9 (weather permitting) and Saturday at Homegrown at the Station in Newcastle 9 -2. Hope to see you all soon.

17.01.2022 I have been very busy this week getting ready for Homegrown Markets at the Station in Newcastle this Saturday. Why busy? ... well after many, many requests we are once again making our very useful and gorgeous personalised caddies. These caddies can be personalised as you wait and make the ideal gift for everyone. (Still drying so photos tomorrow)

14.01.2022 Running late with this post but the car is packed and I'll be found at Legacy Market in Nelson Bay tomorrow, Sunday 15th. After a sell out last weekend of our cute new sea glass birds, limited stock is available tomorrow so come early or msg me to put some aside. These are going to make the perfect Christmas gift. You may not know that Fingal Twilight Markets have their grand opening next Saturday 21st on the foreshore in Fingal Bay from 3 - 8 and I'll be there. 11.01.2022 It's a busy time of the year with annual festivals and exciting new markets both on this weekend. Saturday, I'll be at the Myall River Festival not too far from the music and Sunday I'll be at the first Homegrown Market at Speers Pt. Park. Plenty of fun and activities at both so pop in and get your house beach ready for the summer.

08.01.2022 Sacred Tree Markets tomorrow night 31st Jan, will be the perfect place to cool down, have a bite to eat, listen to some music and purchase some creatively beautiful items and gifts. Pelican Foreshore Markets are back for 2020 on Sat Feb 1 - hooray! You'll find me at both venues.

07.01.2022 I am so excited to be returning to Terrigal Beach Markets tomorrow from 9-3. It has been nearly 12 months since I was last there and so looking forward to seeing some fabulous stallholders again and catching up with the locals. Please pop in and say hi!

06.01.2022 The weather is looking gorgeous for the weekend, perfect spring days so get out and about and visit a market to support small local businesses. Two fabulous options where you'll find me are: Handmade in the Hunter Markets on Saturday and Homegrown Markets at Speers Pt. Park on Sunday. A reminder that both these markets are COVID safe so if you are unwell please don't attend - sanitise and social distance whilst you are there. See you at one of these venues this weekend.

04.01.2022 Due to the extreme wind predicted for tomorrow, Homegrown at Speers Park has been postponed until next Sunday 29th. Unfortunately I'm having next weekend off to head south but will be attending the extra Homegrown market on Sept 13th. More details closer to that date.

03.01.2022 Who loves a sunny long weekend at the beach - I do! You'll find me at two beaches this weekend, Terrigal Beach Market on Saturday and Legacy Market in Nelson Bay on Sunday. I have been busy creating new stock so put on your thongs and head to the beach.

01.01.2022 I can't believe it is 6 weeks since I last traded at a market and oh my, hasn't the world changed since then! A feeling of disbelief and helplessness at what we are all going through has consumed far too much of my energy so with restrictions starting to ease, it's time to reflect on all the good things that have come out of this quarantine time. I've found a greater awareness of the simple pleasures in life such as walking on a beach, reading some of those promised novels and dabbling in a few crafty pursuits have invigorated me. I wonder what you have been doing? As soon as markets are open my gazebo will be pitched with new stock displayed. Until then, stay safe and take a walk on the beach if you can. Jane
