25.01.2022 Continuing the dubious 80s theme tune! Ebony and ivory - Live together in perfect harmony ... Side by side in the car park - Stanthorpe - Courthouse, Why dont we?

24.01.2022 Anyone looking for a decent PWC at the right price- just saw this one for sale on Gumtree. (Its not mine-idont know who owns it either, just saw the ad). Id certainly buy it at that price - maybe less even. Youd get years out of this.

23.01.2022 Good common sense stuff.

22.01.2022 Not good news. This breaks my heart. Please wear lifejackets everyone and stay safe. http://www.couriermail.com.au//e450d940360f2cfc67119d949f7

22.01.2022 Got plenty of courses coming up all over the place up til Christmas. Give us a ring or message to book in and always remember to be careful of operators who promise the world and then trick you into paying extra "hidden" fees. We charge exactly the same wherever we go, doesnt matter where we do our courses, at home or far far away. We dont charge to travel anywhere. We always supply a safe, insured and commercially registered boat and jetski with safety equipment to nat...ional standards for your piece of mind and safety. Do it right the first time. AG Licensing.

20.01.2022 This is an absolute tragedy. I really cannot see how this would happen if the rider was doing the right thing. High speed, close to the shore? Lose control due to what? No power no steer? Once again absolute tragedy. http://www.couriermail.com.au//7d455bc5623518363b737192775

19.01.2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMut8yz8J3s Warning - this does have graphic shots of a nasty laceration to this guys face. Dont watch if you are squeemish. This is what happens when you jump a jetski and dont stick the landing!! Rider was never going to in this case because he launched off a wave and landed flat in the trough of the wave. ... Always look for where you are going to land before you launch!!. I never hit big waves head on because of this. I hit them on an angle and use the back of the wave as a landing "ramp" The rider was knocked unconscious from the impact and was face down when rescued. Fortunately help was nearby. This is why I always recommend that any time you are wearing a PFD type 2 or 3, (water-ski vest) that you always make sure you are with other people. Yes they keep you on the surface but not face up. The type of jacket that floats you face up (a PFD type 1) is no the answer because due to the size and bulk of the jacket, it can cause serious injury (broken neck) on impact with the water at higher speeds. Always have a buddy with you and stay safe.

19.01.2022 I run this. Its a great app

19.01.2022 http://www.couriermail.com.au//0c8c9155dbc83d1eea3b52c15b0 " Its understood that police will investigate, among a number of potential theories, if Mr Parkes was trying to spray water at Tobi who was standing in knee-deep water beside the shore of the dam by turning sharply and accelerating." Seems a fairly likely theory - I would be surprised if he had much experience or a licence to engage in that type of behaviour, the old "lets go really fast near someone and turn away"... is a proven killer, especially when you do not understand that 1 - no power no steer 2 - ski turns from the stern. I saw someone roll a ski along the bank one day doing this and fortunately they were the only one hurt on that day.

18.01.2022 Link to my industry association. If I cant help you, talk to one of them.

18.01.2022 Hard to believe that yo cannot see a big red truck but thats what happens if you aint looking and scanning. Great video. Every single one of the failures by motorists to give way in an appropriate manner in this video can be attributed to them failing to look properly. ie failure to regularly scan, check mirrors etc. Too many people just looking over the bonnet in front of them and not much more. Something happens out of the ordinary and they cant react in a timely manner as they havent seen it in time - this leads to an inability to process the info let alone make a decision

16.01.2022 Our cute new instructor!!! Meet Melinda !!!! What a sweetie !!!

15.01.2022 Some comments about online boat licence training - I have been in the boat licensing industry for 10 years and have been a commercial boat skipper for over 21 years . I have trained thousands of people to get their licence using face to face techniques for theory and practical. We do training all over SW Queensland and the Downs. In the last 12 months or so we have had on-line training approved as a delivery method. Some companies have taken it up, we havent as yet but ...Continue reading

10.01.2022 Another day, another crash at the Wallace and Percy St intersection. Watch as a driver fails to keep left, driving into oncoming traffic: http://ow.ly/XCDmW Thanks to Justin Russell for the video.

09.01.2022 Excellent comments made by the Inspector in relation to this tragic situation. http://www.thechronicle.com.au//fatal-crash-new-eng/35763/

08.01.2022 I hate to be right in this instance. But the lack of licence was obvious from the accident details. Got to respect the speed and limitations of a PwC. http://www.news.com.au//n/b8afe9fd8d5ec6c5eb09e4d9f1a880c0

07.01.2022 Flares, lifejackets, epirb = survival. Well done.

06.01.2022 Terrible tragedy again. water+alcohol+bridge= http://www.couriermail.com.au//02331ed4de3ee0d16febfed93b9

06.01.2022 Just like the typical pwc accident. No power no steer on jet-boats too.

03.01.2022 Big day of testing. 3 cars at the transport Dept. So far 3 out of 3 passes and 3 to go.

03.01.2022 This is why you do not ride your PWC in shallow water. Prior to this the ski had done about 90hrs on that wear-ring. Only takes 5 seconds to stuff it up and thats the end of your day on the water. Always push the PWC out into at least a metre of water before starting and shut the engine down well before you get back to the shoreline. Like I tell my customers about to ride my ski "I would always prefer you get a cold wet arse than you damage my ski."... Normally works, just not this time. Its not a big deal to fix. A new wear ring is about $60 and you need some skills and a couple of specialist tools. It will cost you about $300 at a boat shop to fix. Obvioulsy a lot more if the impeller or the bearings are damaged too. Your wear ring can last for a long time or 5 seconds - its up to you. The gouge from this rock is at least 10mm deep and 40mm wide. Even if you got it out the ski would drive like a car with no clutch left as the gap between the wear ring and the impellor needs to be no more than .025". Thats .6 of a mm. not 10.6mm.

03.01.2022 We are open for business. 7 days a week. Stanthorpe and Warwick. Auto or manual... Lots of times available !! Space just got freed up a lot!! Even free lessons www.keys2drive.com
