18.01.2022 IFS Vehicles. Any lift in the front end over 40mm, require caster correction. These Black Hawk upper control arms by Road Safe were a great choice to sort out the alignment issues in this Ford Ranger. Improving the handling and bringing the caster and camber into the correct specifications.

18.01.2022 Air flow sensors, I find lots of these that need a clean and it takes a couple of min. Improve fuel consumption. Or put the air/fuel ratio into a safe zone. Leaning out from a dirty sensor is easily avoided. Another simple maintenance procedure.

15.01.2022 This is why I will only do a full timing belt kit. Recently replaced belt. Major failure. If you want half a job done there is always another workshop willing... Poor man will always pay twice. In other words pay a little more the first time and get it done right. Or you will pay more in the long run...

08.01.2022 This vehicle was serviced about 850kms prior to this photo. Sorry I wont say where. But there is always more to a service than just changing the oil!

07.01.2022 Output shaft seal is leaking after being recently replaced by another near by workshop. An aluminium housing with a machined inner surface that the seal is required to seal against, was damaged when they removed the old seal. Removal of the worn component is just as important as the instillation process of the replacement part. Its just the basics!

06.01.2022 The 02sensor keeps throwing a engine light up on this Subaru. No wonder why, when there isnt any exhaust gas flowing past the tip of the sensor. Im not to sure why this exhaust modification was performed, but removed the odd looking adapter, cleared the fault code. The issue hasnt come up again.
