01.01.2022 **APPLICATIONS CLOSED** Gunther, 5 year old longhair (approx 9 kg) Victoria Gunther is an anxious dachshund looking for experienced dachshund owners who have th...e patience and kindness to help him positively shine and be the best he can be. Like many dachshunds he does suffer from separation anxiety and doesn't cope with being left outdoors by himself, so he will need company and a place where he can learn to trust his humans and feel secure. Gunther can be reactive when he is put in a situation that makes him feel threatened so he will need training to walk nicely and not lunge at other dogs that he sees . When he gets to know his humans he is a very cuddly boy and loves being on the couch with you. He also loves his toys and snoozing in the sun. We believe Gunther would thrive in a home as an only dog, no children, and once he feels secure and experiences kindness, he certainly has the potential to be a cherished family member.
