25.01.2022 The blushing new growth of Adiantum hispidulum shows not all ferns are just shades of green. Sign up for the next art of kokedama workshop this March 20th to pick my brain on all things mossy. Make one for yourself and one for a friend You can check out the workshops @thenewartisansgallery Crocheted river stones workshop in the formation as we speak.... #kokedama #moss #handmade #sydney #alittlegreen
23.01.2022 It’s a teeny totem bag full of crocheted river stones! I made this as a gift for a friend I haven’t caught up with in so long, a little surprise left on their doorstep. Let’s hope they like them Keep your eyes peeled for a beginners crochet class at the New Artisans Gallery, I will be showing you crocheting on stones to take away your own gifts #crochet #handmade #thenewartisansgallery #sydney #alittlegreen

22.01.2022 Back to enjoying one of my first loves -moss. This Adiantum radianum cv. mist kokedama has a gloriously thickened layer of Fontinalis antipyretica plus a smattering of Selaginella kraussiana. Nothing like letting nature do what it does best. As this cultivar of Adiantum gets older the fronds become finer, it’s a very sweet little fern #moss #kokedama #alittlegreen #handmade
19.01.2022 Loving Michael Pederson's art around the forgotten parts of town, enjoy the moment #streetart #alittlegreen

15.01.2022 A handwoven basketful of ‘looping fish’ and another emu-feather lined one with crocheted river stones, whew quite a few hours and adjectives in there not to mention the little spider web branches that are appearing this Sunday at Kirribilli guys and gals. It’s an Art and Design market coming up that I wasn’t expecting until the following week!! And yes totally freaking out as it’s my first market am doing since my foot operation! Expect moss and the usual quirkiness with the feel of a curio shop with added knowledge Come visit for my first of only two appearances this year xx #crochet #handmade #basketrynsw #kirribillimarkets #sydney

12.01.2022 The glorious blue banded bee (Amegilla) in my neighbourhood, love these furry fellows, they also do the rather special buzz pollination. Next to my tiny Aussie stingless bees these are definitely my next faves #bees #nativeplants #alittlegreen

07.01.2022 Come and explore the whimsical world of mosses and the ancient art of kokedama at a workshop I am running through The New Artisans Gallery Saturday 20th March, link in bio. So looking forward to sharing years of experience, this is guaranteed to get messy so bring a sense of fun and an apron #kokedama #handmade #moss #sydneyworkshop #thenewartisansgallery
