25.01.2022 Full Moon in Scorpio ~ Death | Re-birth | Transformation When the moon is full it means that mama moon is sitting directly opposite (opposing) the sun, allowing his light to illuminate her completely. ... With the sun in Taurus illuminating mama moon in Scorpio, there is an unconscious transformation being stirred within us. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, our planet of death, transformation and re-birth. Scorps rules our deepest selves, our unconscious and our psychology. Think of the Phoenix rising from the ashes. Something is dying so that a new way of being may be born. This transit is all about your personal transformation. If there was ever an opportune time to do some shadow work, it’s today. After all, we must honour our dark and our light to truly heal. Journal about the aspects of yourself you dislike. Get really honest with yourself. Ask how these behaviors have served you. Release any judgement. For example, I am illuminating my behaviors of; judging myself and others, manipulating myself and others, and being self-centered. These have all served as unconscious protection mechanisms for my ego and identity. I honour that this has been a part of me and release any judgement of myself. I love and accept all parts of myself, my light and my dark. This is also a time to reflect on your life over the last six months - think back to the new moon in Scorpio on 7th November 2018. What seeds were you planting? What desires and change were you calling in? What is being illuminated to you now? Just as you work with the cycles of the moon and the cosmos, it’s equally as important to work with the physical cycles of your body. Working with your menstrual cycle and the cosmic cycles is the most beautiful way to navigate your energy. This is one of the first things I map with my clients because I have experi...enced how powerful this information can be. If you’re a woman and you experience a monthly cycle, I invite you to take note of what phase of your menstrual cycle you are in this week. This sets the tone of the week and also of the next eclipse cycle - until Jan 2020. If you have been pre-menstrual or bleeding this week it indicates that you are in a more inward focused phase. This is a time for self nourishment and filling up your cup. Your creations and projects will come to life when you turn your attention inward. So, how can you take more time to nurture yourself? If you have been ovulating this week, then this is more of an external phase for you. A time of outward expression, creativity, collaboration and generally focusing on things and people that are outside your energy field. 22.01.2022 Tomorrow morning we experience a total solar eclipse and new moon on the north node in the sign of Cancer. Cancer energy is the archetype of the feminine, the mother, the nurturer and protector, and is a yin (feminine) + water energy. She is the matriarch. The divine feminine. The Creatress and CEO. Cancer teaches us that it is safe to feel and express our emotions. ... Directly opposite this, we have Saturn conjunct the South Node in Capricorn. Capricorn energy is the archetype of the father and he creates structure, order and restrictions. He is a yang (masculine) + earth energy. We also have Pluto still in Capricorn which brings an added emphasis on death (figurative) and re-birth. The North Node represents our purpose and the energy that we are here to cultivate and move toward. The South Node represents our past and the energy we are here to release and move away from. A new moon normally indicates the beginning of a new cycle and is an opportune time to plant the seeds of your next big dream. Whereas eclipses activate and shine a light on the areas we are being called to change. Our past is being shaken up as we are being nudged toward our future. This energy may feel heavy with the influence of Saturn and the South Node. There may be a feeling of needing to break free from what restricts you. What we are purging, collectively and individually, is no small feat. You are safe to feel whatever you are feeling. Collectively, we are moving out of our masculine energy and more into our feminine. We are moving from structure to flow, hustle to grace, masculine to feminine, head to heart, output to input. The more that you can be still and grounded the easier the next few weeks will be for you. Although you might be feeling the pressure to take action, this is a time to slow down and ensure that you are feeling nurtured and nourished. If you feel depleted, please rest. 18.01.2022 Mercury Retrograde ~ We actually have six planetary bodies officially in retrograde but imma talk about Mercury because he seems to get all the flack. I see SO many people posting about Mercury retrograde as if it’s the end of the world and also as (what seems to me) a bit of an excuse. In reality this is actually one of our more common planetary transits - he will retrograde three times this year and it is really nothing to stop living our lives over. ... Mercury rules communication, technology and logic - he is the quick-thinking messenger of the zodiac. When a planet is retrograde it means that from our earthly point of view the planet appears to be traveling backwards. What this means for us is that themes that relate to Mercury may experience more hiccups than normal. Sometimes this looks like tension, sometimes it’s challenging but a lot of the time you just have to laugh. The message here is to take extra care with communication and technology. Double check your work. Back things up. Triple check contracts. And if things get frustrating, stop and breathe. Mercury retrograde may also bring up themes and people from the past. Trust that whatever comes up for you is doing so because there is something there that isn’t fully resolved. This is a beautiful opportunity to have another go and look to complete what ever is arising for you. With Chiron retrograding through Aries we are being given the opportunity to heal deep wounds. There is a lot of other planetary action going on this week. If things feel over whelming or communications get heated, I invite you to really be present with how you’re feeling - because you are so safe to feel it - and just allow it to be there. 01.01.2022 New Moon in Taurus ~ Taurus is here to teach us how to live slowly and intentionally. She is tactile and sensual - enjoying all forms of pleasure and savoring every moment. Sight, scent, sound, taste and touch. She loves quality over quantity. She would rather spend her day harvesting in the garden than shopping in the mall. She knows what she wants and won’t settle for less. I’ve always seen Taurus energy as being deeply connected to the Earth. If there was one archety...pe that encapsulated the energy of Mama Earth, for me it is so clearly Taurus. This New Moon is calling us to see beyond our own little world and look holistically at what the Earth needs. What is best for Mama Earth and all of the souls that live upon her? What change is she calling in? What is best for her environment - her lands, her oceans, her air? How can we be better at honoring and savoring her resources? What big changes do we need to make as individuals and as a collective towards building a sustainable, solid future for ALL life on this planet? Let’s look holistically at what we are creating in our own lives and also globally. Use this energy to get clear on the long term structures you are building in your life, for sure - this might be a home, business or financial goal. Look at your finances and feel into the growth you desire - how does it FEEL in your body? Where do you desire your business to be in one month? Six months? Twelve months?
