18.01.2022 As a provider of maintenance and repairs to emergency service vehicles and regular customers, A & S Bier Motors is still operating our normal hours. We are offering a collection and pick up service to minimise customer contact. If you do call into our workshop, we ask that you obey the social distancing regulations. Following strict guidelines, we are taking all recommended precautions, including the use of disinfectant wipes and sprays, disposable seat covers and gloves to keep yourself and our staff safe. 14.01.2022 Need to hire a trailer, no towbar, no problem! On Saturday the 8th of February Melton Highway Patrol observed a vehicle towing a trailer on the Western Freeway ...that was swaying from side to side and intercepted the vehicle for further inspection. Police discovered that you don’t need a towbar tongue and ball to hire a trailer when you have a titanium strength tea towel to hold it all together. Just hook on the chain, grab your trusty tea towel and away you go. No need to even remove the anti-theft device from the trailer. The 41 year old male driver had hired the trailer from Deer Park and was heading to Brookfield. Obviously in a hurry with only a 3 hour hire booked. Police found the towbar tongue and ball in the boot of his vehicle and ensured the situation was rectified. The driver left the scene with a $413 infringement for using an unsafe vehicle and was left to explain to his wife where her favourite tea towel had gone.
