23.01.2022 Good Sunday Morning to you all. Hope you are all navigating yourself through this crazy time. I thought I would share with you a photo of the cake my mum would have had for her birthday. It's my very first attempt at hand piping flowers (no easy feat I must say) but with the help if Lisa and the team at Creating Cakes, I did manage to get something on the cake. She also showed us how to make these gorgeous cookies.

21.01.2022 Today is the day A Spoon Full Of Sugar has a little change. We are still making yummy cakes, and now have an exciting announcement. We can now add individual and personalised party decorations to suit any theme. We can make it as personalised and individual as you would like. From cakes, decorations to personalised clothing. Here is a sneak peak of our first themed birthday. Can't wait to post the whole set up on the day. We hopefully over time will get some kits together for hire as well. Lots of new ideas will be popping on here, so please message me if anything takes your interest. Looking at also adding personalised hampers for baby showers over next few months once I've finished putting some samples together.

20.01.2022 So I've been busy working behind the scenes. I fell down the Cricut rabbit hole. This is my first completed project. These are hand written recipes from my Nanna Joans book. Her hand written Christmas pudding recipe is amongst this( which I still use today). This shaddow box has been redone twice as the first one just didn't give it justice.
20.01.2022 How can we be in March already? Havnt taken many orders to year so far, as life has been extremly busy enough. However Imhaving holidays soon, and already have a few projects earmarked. So stay tuned to see some new creations. In the meantime, here is a my latest for a great couple, who wanted a cake that represents them, blue, fun but still wedding like.This is what we came up with. It's was very fun to be part of. 09.01.2022 So pleased to announce that I am able to take cake orders again....we have all climbed the covid mountain. Squeezed this one in between making curtains and babysitting. 08.01.2022 I can't believe I'm today years to learn this trick. As you know cooking is a part of my soul. However cleaning the oven is another story. Well a work friend has changed that forever. I've always been an oven cleaner kind if girl. Breathing in and nearly choking on the fumes. Just scrubbing as long as I can handle the fumes. Well not any more. My oven cleaner has gone in the bin and never another can to be bought. And what is it I'm using instead? Dishwashing tablets...thats right guys and girls dishwasher tablets. These first three were taken before and the last three was when I'm finished. It will need a few goes to get it near new as some of the marks are from years of cooking and oven cleaner not getting rid of them. As you can see. Great results, no toxic fumes and just a little bit of elbow grease.
