18.01.2022 This is Ridge he is one of the Owners here at A1 Aquarium World! Ridge has been fish keeping since he was 10 years old and currently has a large marine set up at home as well as his Freshwater Waterbox in store which he designed and looks after everyday! He is a chef by trade, and also worked in the mining industry for 4.5 years before finally settling into Owning A1. Ridge is a full time dad to two boys Declan and Leo who keep him very busy too! He loves working here and c...reating connections with all of his customers and being able to help people, but also loves seeing all the cool and exotic fish we get in (I do think its a highlight for all of us who work here though ) His favourite fish is his pair of ocellaris clownfish. Ridge is best to speak with about any general or complex fish enquires in both fresh and saltwater, hardware and special orders! Make sure you say Hi to him next time you're in store!

02.01.2022 Keeping on theme from our clean up crew members I'm going to tell you about the Otocinclus. An Otocinclus Catfish is a small fish. They can grow to be about 1 1/2 2 inches when fully mature. They are great clean up crew and like to eat algae off your ornaments, wood, stones and glass. A huge buying point is that they can be kept with shrimp and snails, Cory Catfish and other peaceful tank mates. If you have goldfish, Cichlids, crayfish or Oscars however you will want to l...ook for another fish! Have you kept them before?
