20.01.2022 OUR APPOINTMENT BOOK IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2020. What does this mean? The next available booking is on the 06 January 2021. From this point forward you can put your name down on a cancellation list. ... How will this work? Your contact number will be messaged or called (your preference) if a space becomes available. If the booking is not confirmed within 10 minutes, the next person on the list will be contacted etc. A reminder that the $20 booking fee cannot be transferred to another appointment or refunded for late cancellation or no show during December.

17.01.2022 SALON OPEN TUES 05 JAN Hi everyone, I’d like to keep you all updated with policy & general business operation. As we all know 2020 threw us into survival mode. What it did was highlight what was working well in the salon & what wasn’t. I also had to implement changes that I didn’t anticipate. Going forward looking at what’s happening in other states we may need to implement further government requirements. I have tried my best & believe I achieved keeping the salon as an invi...ting relaxing space. I thank everyone that has embraced our different working model. For the last 2 years I have been slowly & gently modernising the running of the salon with online appointment bookings & pricing structure. What were baby steps turned into a sprint in the last 9 months. Phew. There are already changes to the online booking system with regards to paying a booking deposit. The deposit is now a percentage of the basic service & incorporates a late cancellation & no show policy. You are still able to book in salon or by phone, but will also be required to follow these same policies. With regards to bookings, 99% of my clients re-book before they walk out the door. What this has changed is my ability to take walk-in & last minute clients. I am still endeavouring to find a talented senior stylist to join the team. My pricing structure also began to change some time ago. I have a set price for standard services, these include ; cuts, styling, lash/brow tint & wax, 6 week or less regrowth colour & regular client discounts. All other colour services such as ; over 6 week regrowth, allover colour, foils, balayage, change/removal of colour are changed at an hourly rate. When I shift to an hourly rate the services listed above include everything like treatments, toners, cutting & styling as a total package. Because services are based on a time schedule you will be charged from the time your appointment was booked. There will be a slight increase to pricing being implemented to bookings made after the 05 January 2021. Please note that all bookings made before this date will be charged at the original price. I worked a total of 51 weeks in the craziness 2020. I have scheduled break times throughout my 2021 calendar. The first one being from Tue 16 March to Saturday 27 March. At this stage, with no extra staff the salon will be closed if I am on a break. Let’s hope that 2021 brings some wonderful positive things into our lives.
