16.01.2022 READVERTISING A1 Towing Bathurst is currently searching for the right person to join our team in Bathurst as a Tow Truck Operator. Your day to day work would vary greatly from attending breakdowns and traffic accidents to relocating machinery and heavy equipment. This job is not for those that just want to drive, it will require hard work and extra hours when needed.... If you are interested in applying, please ensure you meet the minimum criteria listed below. Applicants must: Live within the Bathurst area. Hold a minimum of an MR licence, with 2 yrs exp. Be flexible with rosters and understand there will be call-outs throughout the nights, weekends and Public Holidays. Be fit and healthy. Training will be provided to the successful applicant. Rostering will be rotating, and involves on-call and weekend work. Only successful applicants will be contacted and will be required to provide a driving history record and a Police check. 15.01.2022 From 26 September, motorists will no longer need to slow down to 40km/h on roads with speed limits of 90km/h or MORE when passing stationary emergency vehicles ...with flashing lights. Drivers will need to slow down safely and move over to give them as much space as possible. In speed zones of 80km/h or LESS, motorists will STILL NEED TO slow down to 40km/h.
