25.01.2022 These guys are great. If you know someone who is elderly and needs help with their dog being walk then get in touch with these guys and they will help you with taking their dog for a walk. Happy dogs are the best Check them out on their web site

24.01.2022 I would like to share with you where some of our dogs come from. Our Ranger Jodie, and the community of Wiluna are working together to get the dog problem in their shire under control. The people of Wiluna are sending mums with their pups and older dogs to us to re-homed. In return we sterilise the dogs they want to keep, vaccinate them, microchip them and register them with the Wiluna shire. A1 Wheatbelt Dog Rescue pays for this work to be done, so by working with the people we are trying to ease the dog population. So we send a heartfelt thank you to all the people who are adopting dogs and puppies from us as this keeps our charity going and gives us the ability to keep helping the people of Wiluna. 21.01.2022 A huge thank you to HUNGRY TUMMIES Pet Food Pantry They drove to us here in York with dog food, blankets, toys, beads and treats. These guys do an amazing job to help out animals shelters. This is all done with their free time. They are in Perth so if anyone has any donations of the items above please contact them and will gladly take it off your hands. Thanks guys, great job

19.01.2022 A massive thank you to YAHAVA KOFFEEWORKS for donating a big pile of coffee sacks. These fit onto the dog beds perfectly. As you can see, little Bear is very happy with his bed. 14.01.2022 This is the gorgeous DIVA Sunshine. She was with us for a while and then finally adopted by a lovely couple about 1 year ago. She is such a good girl and very loved And very spoilt which is what we want for all our dogs. She was never looked at because for what ever reason people saw in her or didnt see in her but we knew she was a very special lady. Never judge a book by its cover because what is inside is what counts. We do have a couple of dogs in our shelter that don...t get a look at, Bitzy and Samson. Both lovely dogs, just look beyond the first impression you see and look further because there is something special in all of our dogs. We see them everyday and know what they are like. Bitzy is very scared from her previous owner, she was so abused so she needs that special person to take her and show her what love and kindness is. We do this everyday with our dogs so they do go out better than when they came into us. Samson is a very friendly boy, loves kids and is so playful but on first meet he seems off putting but that is just his way, his insecurity of trust but when he knows you he is just perfect. They come to us broken , scared and thinking WTF, but so many of our dogs have gone to their perfect forever homes and all of us from A1 thank you so sincerely. We wouldnt be able to continue with out our adoptive parents so THANK YOU Just love your dog, it is so simple as they just live to be loved and to love you back. See more
