24.01.2022 So recently I got around to building a new front gate entrance and fence at our home in Wollongbar. It includes, 2x 230x250mm hardwood gate posts concreted in large footings, new 4.2m galvanised bar gate and fittings and Aussie hardwood sleepers for the entrance posts and rails. Front fence includes recycled and wire brushed Iron Bark posts in concrete footings and Aussie hardwood rails. Came up a treat! Big thanks to my second apprentice pictured

22.01.2022 We recently finished this low maintenance landscaping job for a newly built Metricon home in Alstonville. We did the charcoal stacker block retaining wall on concrete footing, garden bed, turf prep and installation of 500m2 of beautiful Sir Walter Buffalo Turf. Site levelling done by Dan Leigh Excavations and concreting done by Howat Brothers Concreting, great job guys. We always support local business' when we can. This job turned out awesome. 19.01.2022 Stage 1 of this project in Goonellabah. Granite 600x400mm pavers stepping stones, Lilly Pilly hedge/ screen, river pebble contained by heavy duty treated pine edge.

16.01.2022 Here’s a new set of stairs attached to our new deck are home. Consisting of, painted galvanised steel stringers in concrete footings, 250x50mm @2.4m Australian hardwood treads. The idea behind the style of stairs was to have the hardwood treads appear to be floating, with the stringers blending into the background. There will be a landing from stairs and a path still to come.

15.01.2022 Our latest job was a terraced ‘Windsor’ concrete block retaining wall in Lismore Heights. It included stairs in the top retaining wall. For this job we removed and disposed of the original timber sleeper walls. Termites had gotten into the timber and caused significant damage after just four years. Concrete stacker blocks are such a great replacement option for old timber sleeper walls around this area. No more termite worries!

15.01.2022 We spent our Christmas holidays at home redoing and extended our existing deck. It was treated pine, but now beautiful 140mm wide Merbau hard wood decking boards! Also used stainless steel wire and hardwood for the balustrade as well as custom made aluminum and timber gates. Call for a free quote if you are looking for a new outdoor living space.

09.01.2022 We recently completed this ‘Modernstone’ block retaining wall with capping in Cumbalum. All our block walls are set in concrete footings for absolute peace of mind.
