20.01.2022 As you know, we mostly use Facebook to show our projects, fleet and team in action. And those posts are easy to write. This post is a little longer and harder. How do we find the right words to thank our Mum Vicki for everything she has done for A1 Earthworx? You see, after 38 years in the business, Mum is retiring.... It all began when Dad entered the earthmoving game back in 1982 with a single dozer, with Mum right there beside him, always supportive and there to lend a hand, whilst also raising us kids. From humble beginnings, Dad and Mum grew A1 to be the thriving business that it has become today. Their guidance and support since Chris and I took over in 2016 has been amazing, and something that is impossible to put into words. Until recently Mum has maintained the all important payroll, accounting, insurances and registrations areas of the business, she's always been there to lend a hand and provide advice, but never stifled our plans for the business nor the growth and development that we were putting in place. Mum we hope you know how much we love you and appreciate you and that we sincerely wish you a wonderful retirement. (Well retirement from A1 anyway. We know you have many other exciting projects on your cards). We hope that we continue to do Dad and you proud and we look forward to celebrating all of the big milestones that will come A1s way with you, just as you have with us across the years.
