25.01.2022 Foam snake (Thinus Phoamis Stripis) considered harmless. Midnight callout to Brookside McDonald's carpark. Description - large black coloured snake trying to crawl into his car engine. I'm back in bed now.

21.01.2022 This is so true!

20.01.2022 CAPTION THIS! This picture is a great one showing Pat in a training environment, having fun while still delivering a great session! Pat is keen to make sure that he is totally up to date with current snake catching techniques and is involved under an RTO in helping to train others to so they are fully up to date too. Go on, caption the picture! What do you think is going on?

20.01.2022 This is one hatchling from a clutch of 28 that snake catcher Pat Lazzaro was asked to relocate. He did and the snakes were successfully reintroduced to the wild as they were healthy and able to cope on their own. Being a snake catcher is not just about finding a snake, catching it and then driving it away. It is more about the welfare of the snake and ensuring it has the opportunity to thrive without getting in your way! Save our number, you never know when you will need it 0407 129 260

20.01.2022 Coastal carpet python (morelia spilota mcdowli) Having a snooze under a car bonnet in Griffin. Not uncommon as it provides protection.....til it's seen.

20.01.2022 Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) in Warner. Scary and ferocious reputation...though valid for being capable of a fatal bite...this fella allowed me to gently caress his chin and neck with my hook...for about 30 seconds. I waited two hours for a female to come out of the rock wall when this bachelor came looking for her. He was preoccupied following her scent as I slowly walked towards him presenting my hoop bag as a dark shelter. He literally waltzed straight in on his own without me even touching him. There's three more large ones in there but are proving very elusive and testing my patience.

19.01.2022 Red-bellied black snake (Pseudechis porphyriacus) considered dangerously venomous. Had the pleasure of joining Kym from Kym'll Catch It to persuade this stubborn Mona Lisa of the snake world out from under a wooden slab, love seeing large healthy ones. Pic in comments of the venom left after it bit the bag.

19.01.2022 Another Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) in Warner. My heart broke at the last millisecond. After waiting over an hour for this nervous beauty to come out from the safety of the rock wall. I crawled as slowly as I could and managed to get just over a metre from it when it noticed me. As it had too many holes to quickly escape into, I decided to change tactic, and when it took it's second lunge I managed to hook the front half into the bag BUT!!!!!! before I could swoop the bag up, it suddenly darted out and back into the rock wall. I cut the video from over 5 min to 2.47 .....frustrating to say the least and a few colorful words rang through my mind. I'll be back. And yes you may have a giggle at my expense, its fair.

18.01.2022 *Update* Bitie has reunited with his owner thanks to all that helped. Special thanks to Scott Eiper from Nature 4 You for confirmation of the subspecies. Antaresia Stimsoni (stimson's python) Found a escaped pet python in Peppertree St Warner (going into shed). If you know anyone in the area looking for this gorgeous family member, please pass on my details. ... Antaresia sub species (stimson's, children's or spotted) you be the judge. See more

17.01.2022 Coastal carpet python caught in a small gap of a storm water pipe in Narangba. Had eaten a rat which wouldn't pass through the gap. Happy to say no harm sustained. Went out to Bunnings the next day and bought a Dremel for the toolbox, watch now, I'll never need it again.

16.01.2022 Eastern brown snake hiding in a rock wall in Cashmere. This handsome fella gave me a workout removing 3 boulders from the wall at a child care facility. Had to be careful not to crush him in the process. He hadn't finished shedding (release footage in the following post).

16.01.2022 On behalf of Hiss Off Snake Catching please ask your friends if they've lost their pet jungle python. Hey guys. I caught this Jungle last night in Margate. Quite obviously an escaped pet, so I need to get the word out, however Facebook has me on a ban for the rest of the month so I'm unable to advertise to find it's owner. I'm asking if you could please share some pictures and my spiel to try reunite her/him with their owner: Hi all. This 1.1m Jungle python was located ...in a backyard in Duffield rd, Margate last night (2/12/20). It is not endemic to that area and therefore is assumed to be an escaped pet. If you are, or know, the owner of this snake, please contact Col from @HissOffSnakeCatching on 0410129429 to be reunited. Proof of licence and photographic evidence will be required. Thank you. 15.01.2022 Release footage of the eastern brown snake from a rock wall in Cashmere. Notice he was fully aware of me following him but just kept moving along without "attacking" me. I followed really slowly without sudden movements as to not spook him and had my phone on zoom, told me to back off a few times. Enjoy, Pat.

15.01.2022 Hi all, anyone lose this guy? Griffin, Qld. https://m.facebook.com/groups/610290002374128?view=permalink&id=2868785496524556

15.01.2022 Pat Lazzaro, snake catcher on Brisbane northside comes face to face with this little fella!!!!! Pat loves helping householders and business owners make their environment safe. All of the snakes that he catches are relocated safely and a good distance away so that the chances of them returning are very small! Save our number - you never know when you might need it! 0407 129 260

15.01.2022 I invite all my snake catcher friends (and haters alike) around Australia to consider taking part in this survey. Costs you nothing and you'll contribute valuable data. Feel free to share among your contacts. Thanks in advance. Kind regards Pat. https://www.facebook.com/1134049196761993/posts/1646771345489773/

14.01.2022 Have you heard about the amazing work that Reptile Rehabilitation Qld do? Here is our latest blog which talks about their amazing work. I am proud to be associated with them.

14.01.2022 I know they are always around... we do live in Australia after all. However its a bit confronting being face to face with this fella (120 cm Eastern Brown - 2nd most deadly snake in the world) cruisin around under my house in bray park. This is where we have set up for home schooling and it was found in the kids toyroom. So just beware I guess. And if you see one stand very still... unlike me who piss bolted screaming up the steps. SHOUT OUT TO PAT FROM A1 SNAKE RELOCATIONS!!! Who was here within 7 minutes (warner local) and caught this "beauty" as he called in a matter of minutes. You are a dead set legend Pat!

14.01.2022 A healthy-looking Eastern Brown snake that was relocated from Cashmere back in October. It was spotted slithering into his shed. The guy who had seen it realised it was most likely an Eastern Brown so closed the shed and gave us a call. Pat attended the call promptly and had the snake safely bagged up within 15 minutes thanks to the quick thinking of the householder. Save our number in your phone! 0407 129 260

14.01.2022 If you needed to, would you know what to do?

12.01.2022 Do you need a snake catcher to deal with a snake problem where you work? Car yards, warehouses and similar all offer a great place for snakes to hide out. If you want to discuss your situation give Pat a call! He covers the entire Northside of Brisbane, no snake too big or too small!

11.01.2022 Another pretty colored Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) this one from Brendale today. The color variation in these elapids never ceases to amaze me. Have a look at how quickly it vanishes into the ground cover.

10.01.2022 In beautiful South East Queensland, we have many different species of snakes. Some of these are highly venomous but we also have species that are totally harmless. To the untrained eye, it can be difficult to identify them. This can cause unnecessary angst and fear. It is always safer to contact a licensed professional than try to handle a snake situation yourself. Pat Lazzaro is an experienced snake catcher. He will happily give you free advice on what to do if you encounter an unwanted visitor in your home. If you need him to attend he will safely relocate the snake in question. Please give Pat a call on 0407 129 260 Save the number! You never know when you will need it!

09.01.2022 Many thanks to Heather Jopson from Beyond Property Management Pty Ltd who really goes above and beyond for her clients. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1245802379133497&id=460787000691252

08.01.2022 Eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis) Considered dangerously venomous. This chunky beauty has had a feast chasing rats around a chicken coop in Rush Creek I'd say for years and very successfully too looking at it's girth. Problem with moving it on now will see a rapid increase in rats there. Can't guarantee that another snake won't move in.

08.01.2022 Stuning colored Eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis) Considered dangerously venomous. Joyner. Notice it had no idea that I was there til I tailed it, even in close proximity. This is because I kept still (it works), they react to movement.

07.01.2022 Midnight call to Murrumba Downs. Caller was in bed and couldn't work out why her gorgeous poodle wouldn't jump on the bed and join her as usual. Got up to check it and when she turned realised the carpet python comfortably draped behind her pillow. She later remembered her bedroom security screen was ajar on Saturday night. Unknowingly sharing her bedroom for two days. Footage of capture in comments. Coastal carpet python (morelia spilota mcdowli).

06.01.2022 This pretty coastal carpet python (Morelia Spilota McDowell) found an easy entry through an open laundry window. Just looking for a nice quiet spot out of the heat after consuming a possible rat in Samford Valley. This was a snake that was caught in Summer last year.

06.01.2022 Do you know what to do if you spot a snake in your home or office? The first and most important thing would be to make sure everyone is out of harms way and that the snake is safely secured - do this by closing all the doors to the area to confine him and then put towels against the door so he can't sneak out! Then call a professional! Save our number and one of our snake catchers will be out before you know it! 0407 129 260

05.01.2022 Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) from Samsonvale today. Check out the vibrant belly and grey phase dorsal variation. This stunning specimen was checking out a home office without an appointment.

05.01.2022 The survey is now live, if you wish to contribute, you don't have to answer any question you're not comfortable with. Please share with your catcher mates, it's anonymous and only took me 10min. Thanks in advance. https://www.facebook.com/1134049196761993/posts/1647527225414185/

04.01.2022 Tiger snake (Notechis scutatus scutatus) Highly venomous Many thanks to The Snake Hunter - Mark Palley for the privilege to tag along for the release of this absolutely stunning specimen in Diamond Creek, Victoria.

04.01.2022 Lace monitor (Varanus varius) in Samford Valley. This gorgeous yet stubborn fella had a run in with a staffy (who came out second best with multiple stitches). Sat high up a 25m pine tree for two days after the incident. Concerned it may have sustained injuries from the fight, the awesome staff at Gleam O' Dawn had Anne Noonan and myself come out for a welfare check. After coaxing it from the top of the tree (for some time in heavy rain), it ran under the building making me leopard crawl to get it out. Washed all the mud off him to find three fresh minor wounds wich were treated and given the all clear by the amazing UQ Vets in Dayboro. Once recovered he was released further up Mt Glorious Rd.

03.01.2022 Snakes play an important role in our ecosystem They help to keep rodents in check. We forget that they make up a significant proportion of the middle-order predators. It is these animals and reptiles that keep our natural ecosystems working. Without them, the numbers of prey species would increase to unnatural levels and the predators that eat snakes would struggle to find food. That is why Pat Lazzaro, A1 Snake Relocations is passionate about relocating them to a place which ensures safety for you and for them! If you have an unwelcome snake that you need catching give Pat a call - save his number! 0407 129 260

02.01.2022 Got a snake that wasn't invited???? Pat Lazzaro is your local man. He will catch the snake and relocate it a safe distance away giving you and the snake a fighting chance! Save our number - you never know when you might need it! 0407 129 260

02.01.2022 Reaching out to all my wildlife loving friends living around the Brisbane area. As the spring is here so are the movements of our critters increasing the chances of encounters. Some pretty grusome injuries recently. We as volunteer rescuers are being inundated with calls for help but we can't be everywhere at once and its very time consuming. I'm reaching out to you for support in the form of drop off points and transporting of securely contained injured wildlife. Any help would be greatly appreciated. No qualifications needed for this. Below is an old male water dragon coming to it's natural end of life cycle. Please please please consider being involved. Thanks and have a safe Father's Day.

02.01.2022 A video back from December... Red-bellied black snake (Pseudechis porphyriacus) considered dangerously venomous. Pat had the pleasure of joining Kym from Kym'll Catch It to persuade this stubborn Mona Lisa of the snake world out from under a wooden slab. A healthy and very active fella!

01.01.2022 Ever wondered how and why a snake sheds its skin? Our latest blog tells all!

01.01.2022 Did you know... There are only 5 places on earth where snakes don’t live? If you want to live in a place where there are no snakes, there are only five places to choose from Ireland, Iceland, New Zealand, and the North and South Poles. So if you’re not that keen on snakes we hope you like the cold!

01.01.2022 Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) Props to Shane from Cashmere today for bravely following instructions til I got there. This simple action kept the snake in place without exposing Shane to any risk of being bitten. Obviously the environment and circumstances and Shane's level-headedness were ideal. The snake was accidentally encountered, Shane kept still, there were many directions in close proximity for it to escape to. It conveniently chose the gap beneath the hot water system. Kept nervously poking it's head out, seeing Shane 4m away waving his hands and quickly retreated back under. There were other items offering refuge between Shane and the snake. Shane continued keeping eyes on the hide for the 16 min it took me to get there making it an easy catch. Onya Shane.
