25.01.2022 We wanted to say a BIG congratulations to our junior drama class for an amazing term! This term was all about Pixars Inside Out and we got to know our emotions of Joy Sadness Anger Disgust and Fear pretty well! As a team we worked on our confidence imagination and communication skills and of course had lots of fun along the way! Great work budding actors and actresses! enjoy your break and we look forward to seeing you next term!

FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) is a term used to describe impacts on the brain and body of individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol. 17.01.2022 This week we held our Camp Active: Dance & Drums holiday program! Our wonderful members moved and grooved participating in dance games and making new friends along the way! When we got the drums out, Bill taught us how to copy rhythms play different instruments and listen to our friends drum by themselves! Thanks to all our members who joined us this week! 10.01.2022 Happy days! All individual therapy sessions and group holiday programs can resume tomorrow! In line with the latest restriction guidelines, we ask that all adults and carers wear a mask when entering and exiting our venues and at all times whilst indoors. Children under 12 years and anyone affected by a medical condition or disability are exempt from wearing masks. During 1:1 and group sessions, A8 staff may remove their masks if it impedes on their ability to communicate or be understood, if it causes distress to our members, or if social distancing requirements can be abided by. This will involve masks being taken on and off as the activity requires and at the staff members judgement We can’t wait to get back tomorrow and we thank our wonderful A8 community for being so supportive

By the end of the 10-week program our goal is to see each girl emerge with the skills required to positively embrace and navigate social situations including nurturing supportive friendships decoding social etiquette and building healthy safe-care routines! 01.01.2022 Today was our last Camp Active: Arts, Crafts & Yoga We had lots of fun over the past 3 days visiting the jungle flying our rockets around space and diving down under the sea !!! One of our favourite things in Arts & Crafts was making wibbly wobbly jellyfish and we also loved getting messy making glittery star slime In Yoga we loved learning all our animal poses like the tiger and crocodile pose!! Thanks to all our wonderful members who joined us this week

01.01.2022 A few weeks ago we held our Little Arvo Out - Trolls Movie Dance Along!! And oh my glitter we had the BEST time! We danced to the Trolls soundtrack played Poppy-inspired fun games dressed up ready for the Trolls premiere and had the paparazzi take our photos on the rainbow red carpet!
