One of Western Australias most prestigious musical and entertainment venues, Crown Theatre Perth, recently commissioned and installed a new L-Acoustics K2 PA system, with help from AAA Productions and Jands. The new system consists of 11 K2 on each side of the stage, bolstered by eight KS28 subs and four Kiva II as center fill. "The K2's amazing power-to-weight ratio proved to be a big advantage," explains Campbell. 15.01.2022 Perth Zoo are one of our longest standing clients and we have been working with them pretty much continuously since 1998. There were many Summers that our founder spent many Saturdays in Summer building and mixing great shows for people like Kate Ceberano and James Morrison on the Main Lawn. For the first time in some years the Zoo has a Summer Concert series next February. Originally opened in ...1873, Ally Pally has gone through 80 years of slumber and two years of careful restoration led by Steve Brookes, the buildings Head of Production and Technical. His aim was to bring a full, modern production infrastructure to the space so that no company or touring production would hesitate to perform at the Palace. At the same time, Steve had to ensure that the heritage of the building was honored. I have always had a preference for L-Acoustics. Although the second violins in contemporary orchestras are always seated right next to the first violins, which a...re on the house left, I chose to sonically put them on the opposite side of the sound field to create a point-counterpoint interval play between them. L-ISA Hyperreal Sound provided by Clearwing Productions allowed Aric Christensen, Head of Audio for the Colorado Symphony, to take Oscar-winning composer John Williams full score for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back to new, captivating heights for viewers.
