22.01.2022 Another win at the Ekka! Minnamurra were amongst the winners at the RNA paddock to palate awards last night, taking out the Champion Carcase in the 100 day HGP ...Free Class, as well as third overall for a pen of 6 carcases. (A total of 150 steers were entered into this class). The winning carcase was by Minnamurra Jaguar J156 out of one of our Te Mania blood Angus cows. A very pleasing result considering we had sold virtually all our Speckle cross calves as weaners, due to the drought, and the few we retained were paddock fed right up to the entry weight, with no supplementary feeding at all. More proof of how well Speckle Park cattle do in dry conditions, and what a great meat cross Speckle x Angus is. See more

13.01.2022 When only the best will do AAA Elizer N28 was the Grand Champion Speckle Park Bull at the 2019 Royal Queensland Show, and went on to place in the top 5 of the Interbreed under Judge Roger Evens. N28’s show highlights are too long to list. N28 is a bull with Fantastic feet and legs, a great sires front end with smooth shoulders for easy calving. He is extremely long, being described by some people as having an extra rib or 2 in him. He is reproductively sound with a lovely clean sheath and a scrotal size of 38cm. This is a bull we believe to be the best we have bred to date, and as such we have retained semen in this bull for our own use. N28 will go on to do a fantastic job for his new owners and we have no doubt he will produce champions

09.01.2022 The "C" word is a hard pill to swallow and harder to take when its just you and the doctor sitting in the office. Im afraid that I have some very personal reasons for this post, Im sad . It is in the most difficult moments of life you realize who your real family, friends or people are that really have your back. Peoples true colours come out when the attention isnt on them . Unfortunately, some friends are going to press "like", but not really read it because it take...s time to read this statement and when they see that it is long, they skip it. Now I look at those who take the time to read this post until the end ..... (I think I will discover that 5 maybe 6 will). Cancer is very invasive and harmful, even after the end of treatment your body is still struggling to restore the damage caused by radiation/chemotherapy. Your mind reels, for a very long time. It is a very long process. (100% true) and for a few angels they dont live on. Please, in honour of a family member, a friend who died, is still fighting cancer or even had cancer but beat it, Copy and paste (dont just share) on your page. So I can find out who read it, please write "done" so we can see together the power of Unity !!! To all those who have lost someone or are in the battle against cancer, heres a hug for each and every one of you and your loved one See more
