Having completed 6 landscaping jobs in the last 2 weeks my boys definitely earnt themselves a beer or two Fantastic effort by the crew to dig deep and complete clients works in time. 25.01.2022 *2 for the price of 1. Here is some low maintenance landscape works we carried out this week to a newly set of units in the Bunbury region. Picking the right landscape for you is important to the lifestyle you live. Whether you are a green thumb, FIFO worker, semi retired or retired and even the traveler, we at AAA Turf and Garden provide you with quality work that suits you! Here is a package that was planned and set out for client for future traveling and also a unit to ...be rented out with not having to much worries of keeping up the maintenance out side. All gardens were lined with heavy duty weed mat to keep the weeds at bay. Some low level maintenance plants that look after them selves. Some quarts stones to keep a fresh look for longer. Aluminium link edge to separate synthetic turf from gardens. Blue metal dust for guest to park. Paving under clothes line and continued on paving and steps to rear yard. We even made our own unique stepping stones that we made up on the spot to ensure this client had their own unique steppers to front door and dead side of house. More synthetic turf for rear court yards and so much more!! The idea for this piece is to be able to enjoy out side with little to no effort. 25.01.2022 *The pen is mightier than the sword! All this started with a pencil and paper. We at AAA Turf and Garden pride ourselves on having a diploma in landscape design which gives us the tools to create some great landscape designs for our clients. This one here we: Demolished the original front yard and created a new look by installing reticulation with Flexi tube, making exposed aggregate Kerbing, Palmetto Buffalo turf with soil conditioner for the underlay @50mm. Blue metal ...dust for front parking, planned up some old railway sleepers for a new look, added some stone in amongst them as well as giving them a stain, some nice new feature plants, woodchips for mulch, we even hand made them gates!! And a feature wall!! Brought in a brand new mail box to suit, some very nice feature pots also, added some stones for the dead side of the house and being a CRN block we put some mulch in around the verge side. A lot went into this piece, we went absolutely all out to make sure our clients were the happiest they have been with there new landscape package. Here we have a lovely young family who bought their first home and wanted something different for the dead side of their house rather than stones and pavers. Many thanks to Australind Landscaping Supplies for supplying us their quality materials. Job consists of: -100mm sand out.... -75mm blue metal dust in. -fine grading for optimum levels. - summer prestige synthetic turf cut in and around drain pipe, air con unit and clothes line for a natural look. -pins through out turf to hold in place. - Silica sand spread throughout turf for realness under feet. - broom in sand for even spread of sand. Client was so happy there was no more sand blowing around and inside their house. 24.01.2022 *Rain, Hail or Shine. Here we have a great little front back landscape package that is located in Kingston that Australind Landscaping Supplies got us in to lend a hand. Whilst the weather was not ideal and the boys were soaking wet we still managed to pump out just under 300 M2 of village green Kikuyu turf, installed 6 station reticulation, apply soil conditioner + levels. Install weed mat and blue metal stone with some classy looking aluminium link edge and planted some neat looking cordyline plants in just over a couple of days. 24.01.2022 *Hidden gems. After yet another massive week landscaping, we choose to smash out some maintenance work on Saturday around Australind. My two sons work so h...ard for our family run business that I decided to shout them a feed at Benesse Australind. I thought this was a great little place that was our first time eating at and it was AWSOME! 23.01.2022 Back with a Bang! 2020 is here and weve kept our promise to come back into the new year swinging! Designing and installing some nice new landscape peaces for #Bunbury and sourounding areas! Heres a great job in #eaton that consists of : Designing the project.... Getting our levels right. Building a massive sand pit for our clients kiddies to play in. We used 350x350x1 meter blocks. We then weed matted the dead side of the house and put a nice looking Quartz stone in. We then put some form work down to make our own limestone kerbing to match sand pit area as well as making our very own unique steppers to put in with the stones. Beach sand was used to fill sand pit. Followed by installing reticulation with perfect 100% coverage. Spread out soil conditioner for the under lay of turf + nutrients. Bring in some awesome local palmetto buffalo lawn and give it a good compact for good knitting. After a great Australia day long weekend we got back into it by mowing the lawn after 4 days of install!!?? The lawn is absolutely thriving from the warm weather how could we not resist so we triple cut it with a cylinder mower for great results. We are working really hard to raise the bar in our landscaping that we provide for our clients, and my twins sons are loving making new kerbing of a few different varieties. 23.01.2022 In the nic of time. With only having 8 days until Christmas day this client was so looking forward to having their back yard transformed for a perfect Christmas day to host. We new it was a tough ask but we decided we can complete a 2 week job in just only 6 days! Guys worked effortlessly to get this big task completed in time. Massive thanks to @pecivil who carried out major earth works and to our suprise we were informed that the took out 70m3 of dirt! We then decided to... get paving and a 2 block high retaining wall under way at the same time to save time. And a couple of big soakwells put in aswell as reticulation. Then some soil conditioner at 50mm thick spread through out. At last we coukd see the finish line until we get a phone call from our son brandon that he may have broken his ankle due to a soikd night on the dance floor. Then another call from our casual worker to say he had a bout of gastro!! Ok now the pressure was on. So steve reached out to a couple of guys he has worked with in the past to come in and help. A massive thanks to sharni and seb for helping us out. We did it! All completed Christmas eve ready for an awsome Christmas day for our clients to enjoy Hope everyone has an amazing chrissy and new years and most importantly stay safe. This client from Dalyellup wanted a front statement with her paving and to also join their paving around to the dead side of their house for easy access walking to and from the back yard and also in to laundry area. With all the different shapes and sizes this task proved that your measurements and cuts had to be on point! Needless to say it came up faultless. 20.01.2022 *FRONT YARD BLITZ....with a twist. This little front yard blitz was held a big secret from our clients husband who didnt realise this transformation was taking place at his home whilst he thought his present was a trip to bali! We only had a certain amount of time to complete before arriving back to their new frontage landscape. Job consists of in house earth works to completely demolish their existing landscape and start with a blank canvases.... We constructed limestone edging to match drive way which is not an easy task hence not many landscapers will take on this work. Soil conditioner throughout. Palmetto Buffalo turf with some fancy stripes for presentation. Minor improvements to reticulation. Quartz stone for both sides of driveway. Black karri and peat black mulch for feature front garden Hand selected plants that require little to no maintenance. Lets face it, i wouldnt want a high maintenance garden after i turn 60. 16.01.2022 *The inbetween jobs. With the mercury being risen over the last few days in #bunbury, landscaping under the hot sun can take its toll on anybody, I know where Id rather be down the cut with some icy cold bevos and believe me! My boys almost convinced me to pull up stumps. Sorry fellas back to the grid. We were lucky enough to install two nice affordable landscapes to the rear yards of our clients in the same day. One job with the pool in it had 17x5meters long 60mm thic...k concrete drive way that our clients who recently just bought the house wanted grass for their beloved pooch to play on so we were asked to rip it up so we called in P.E Civil who done a very nice job-thanks ladsthen add some lovely soil conditioner to it nutrients plenty of weeter soil and good old Village green Kikuyu turf was layed in its place. 15.01.2022 *who says fake turf gets hot!? Hers something a little different! We were called in to remove the old buffalo turf that just wasnt taking off for this client and had asked us to keep the reticulation in the ground and cut them in to his new synthetic turf so when the grand kids came around the could turn the retic on and cool it down and to also have water activities on a bit summers day. Definitely was something a little different than were used to but it came up fantastic! Some absolute great jobs we have been fortunate enough to participate in from building new limestone walls, recycling blocks to create new raised garden beds, paving that my sons are enjoying, design reticulation, installing reticulation, laying various types of turf to suit clients lifestyles, creating new car parks on front verge made from blue metal scalps, our general maintenance we have even snuck in some lawn ren...ovations, the list goes on! This is the very reason when leaving school at 16 y.o I choose to become a horticulturalist/landscaper because of all different various types of work you get to be involved in and all the experience you gain, and 21 yrs later nothing has changed still love doing what we can do and what we can do for this awsome community of #Bunbury and surrounding towns. 12.01.2022 *The full frontage. This lovely elderly couple had just bought this awsome home in Millbridge and could not bare the thought of maintaining this "let go" verge, who could blame them!? So we thought we would get our hands dirty and clean it up for them so they wont have to ever do garden maintenance there again. Earth works provided in house by us, in with the blue metal dust & because of the frontal view I wanted this to be flat very flat. So out come the string line, screed bars and some elbow grease and got to work. 11.01.2022 *The in between jobs. What does a #Bunbury landscaper do in between two large landscaping jobs?..... We head to #Burekup and do a neat front Turf install + minor earth works, With having a small window of opportunity to be able to get this clients new lawn down we decided to keep all our landscaping gear set up on the rigs from yesterdays job and get in and do it This lawn is Palmetto Buffalo and its a nice looking lawn, so we striped it up for presentation. The soi...l is parts loamy clay which holds water unlike some of the sandy soils around parts of the #southwest which helps to have soil conditioner added to the underlay of turf when installed so no soil conditioner was warranted. We added a good amount of dynamic lifter which is high in nitrogen a source of food for newly layed lawn. It does a range of things for your lawn and gardens such as, improves soil health by increasing nutrient retention and encouraging earthworms along with microorganisms + provides complete plant nutrition with organic slow release potassium, phosphorus and again nitrogen for better root growth and quality lawn growth. Get your soil prep right! When starting your landscapes, its important for a good healthy start something that Steve thought was a key factor in landscaping while studying his diploma in horticulture. Big effort all round to perform minor earth works, reticulation to just under 400 M2 of turf and gardens, spread soil conditioner through out the job, steel edging to separate lawn from gardens, lovely Jarrah wood chip in garden, weed mat and plants, Kikuyu turf, blue metal scalps for extra parking, and some awesome steppers in mulch to access dead side of the house. 07.01.2022 *Dust til Lawn What a great way to start the week. Another budget friendly back yard landscape job done for a local treendale resident. All done and dusted within 2 days. Reticulation that was installed has 100% coverage and the lawn we went with is winter green couch that looked like green carpet! came up an absolute treat say goodbye to that horrible dust pit and hello to your new lush green lawn. #aaaturfandgarden #treendale #landscaping #softscape

06.01.2022 *continued from last post. - Getting it done. With the terrible weather we had and the rain just bucketing down, lets say it was a tad hard being motivated to say the least. With the weather slowing up the process we wanted our clients job done for them to enjoy over the weekend. Righty-o and business went as follows.... -Capped off underlying reticulation to provent futher damages than there was suspected to be. -Being quite a large area quite a bit of fill was taken out and manually box out remaining soil from edges. -100mm of blue metal dust in leveled then compacted to insure the durability of a used drive way. -Approx 25mm of yellow sand. Broom excess sand over the top -Then follow up day with some cleaning down to make it look like we had never been there. So very proud off of my twin 20yr old sons effort for working so hard for our little business and to not even batter an eye lid for helping us finish it off on a Saturday which turned out to be a glorious day for it. cant thank you enough. #aaaturfandgarden #landscape #landscaping #bunbury #dalyellup See more

04.01.2022 *ask and you shall receive. Here we have lovely not so little landscape job done in good ol dalyellup. Site was completed covered in bulldust so this lovely client knew what she wanted and got us in to transform her yard. Job consists of- 400400 charcoal pavers cemented in blue metal and weed mat for the dead side of the house. -exposed Ag pavers for paving under alfresco area, outside laundry door and rear access door. We also used the same pavers for edging around garden b...eds for a unique better finish. -reticulation in lawn and gardens. -Village green Kikuyu turf. -finished off limestone wall to drive way and made a future feature tree spot in wall. -15 cubic metres of pine bark mulch for CRN verge and in gardens. -blue metal scalps for extra parking at the front of the house. -railway sleepers that were cut by us to retain slope on R/H drive way. Here we have a rear yard landscape job that we completed and this awesome young couple are doing some great things with their back yard and got us in to supply & install: Earth works reticulation... Soil conditioner Wetta soil/dynamic lifter Village green Kikuyu We had mentioned to them that you can now control and operate your reticulation via an app! Thats right and app via your smartphone! Crazy hey. All you need is a compatiable controller, wifi chip, wifi at home and bingo! You can operate your retic at the touch of your smartphone. No more walking all the way to the dead side of the house or your out the back yard and your controller is out the front and you need to turn on the back station just get your phone out of your pocket.
