15.01.2022 It wasn’t just Performing Artists but also several Business’s that lost their main form of income overnight after this first news conference shutting down gatherings of more than 500 people. And then whatever glimmer of hope that still existed was snuffed out 7 days later with the closure of all cafes, restaurants, gyms and cinemas. Our industry has been the first to be hit and due to the nature of how long it takes an event or festival to be organised this will affect us l...onger than the average business, once the doors open back up our industry won’t kick off until several months after. We understand that we are not alone and these measures are imperative for good of our communities and country. Tony Burke seems to be the only one listening to the plight of those in this business.
