21.01.2022 Danish Refugee Council awards first prize to the debating team at Upward Primary School. The 2019 inter-school peace debates were held to promote peaceful co-existence between refugees and the host community of the Kiryandongo District. "Whilst visiting Upward Primary School in June 2019 I was able to observe formal debate training. The girls in particular were very articulate and a force to be reckoned with in their presentation. These photos may illustrate this to you, the topic being; Punishing children at school has done more good than harm." - Max
