25.01.2022 This week marks Air League Week in NSW. While our Squadron page has been quiet since prior to the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, and from that a big change to the Squadron with personnel and virtual nights for a period of time. We want to share that we are very much open, operating safely, and looking for new members to join our Squadron.... If you are aged 8 and up and interested in aviation, we welcome you to come and visit us and see what the Australian Air League is about. Right now we can accept males directly into the Squadron, and looking to see the interest from females as both cadets and adult volunteers to expand the offering an experiences of the Air League to a wider community. All prospective members get a 3 week trial to learn more about the Australian Air League and we get everyone involved in activities each Parade Night to experience our program. Maitland Squadron meets every Friday night of school term at the Royal Newcastle Aero Club, Maitland Airport, from 1830 hrs (6:30pm) to 2030 hrs (8:30pm). If you are interested, come and visit us to learn more, or drop us a message.
