23.01.2022 Recently we had a call to make keys to a Honda scooter. a lot of scooters use a secondary lock to block the key-way which makes it harder to cut keys to the scooter, also a lot of manufactures no longer offer the keys as a spare part and can only sell you a complete lockset when you need another key. We keep a lot of these blanks in stock to help limit the amount of time that you are without your ride, no matter what it is. 20.01.2022 We recently had this Ducati Monster 620 brought into us with a dead cluster, which is also the immobiliser. Un-able to find a replacement to code into the bike we managed to replace the damaged components in the cluster and get the bike running at a fraction of what the dealer would have charged for new parts. Not only can we do keys for your bike, we can recode most ECU's to be used on another bike as well as clusters, so second hand parts can be used.

The customers called someone out to let them into their car, the problem is the Locksmith they got out didn't know what they were doing. There is no reason why a car needs to be damaged to open it. Sometimes the cheaper guy isn't the best choice. Make sure who ever you call out to let you in knows what they are doing and will be responsible for any damage they do!

16.01.2022 To start the week of we had a customer who had their only key stolen to their Porsche Cayenne. A key from the dealer takes over a week to arrive and you still have to get the car to them to have it programmed. Not only can we get you in but also cut and program a key, as well as deleting the stolen key so it will no longer start the car. If you only have one key to your car car get a spare now as it's a lot cheaper when we have a key to copy from compared to making one from scratch!

13.01.2022 Today we had a 2012 VW Polo in Unley with lost keys. The dealer takes 10 days for keys to come from over seas and then need the customer to tow the car into them to finish the programming, can you wait 10 days? We keep these keys in stock, getting you back on the road THE SAME DAY!

12.01.2022 As I do a lot of work on VW and Audi cars, one thing that I have noticed is a lot of them have failing displays in the cluster (dashboard). One of the major ones for this is the Audi TT which is also the same part as the A3 and A6. Now not only can we repair immobiliser faults and faulty gauges on these cars but now also the LCD display. As this is fixing your existing cluster there is no need to reprogram the keys and change the kilometers stored.

12.01.2022 What's one way to ruin your Christmas holidays? Not being able to find your keys! If you have a spare, make sure you know where it is and that it works. If you don't have one... then call us. It is also the time of year where a lot of break and enters happen. Don't leave your house or car keys in plain site. 10.01.2022 MITSUBISHI LANCER - LOST KEYS

10.01.2022 Own a Ford Falcon or Territory? If so you have possibly been unlucky to have the ignition switch fail on you. These very commonly fail in two ways, the spring return breaks so the starter motor keeps running, or the switch falls apart and you can't start your car. The dealer fix for this is replacing the steering column which has the switch built into it, this way you won't have much change out of $2,000. Some companies offer an exchange unit and will fit a "refurbished" colu...mn or even repair your existing one but use the existing broken part in the switch We replace the broken part with a new piece giving you a better quality job and at a fraction of the cost of a new part. We keep the parts in stock and to the job on site. Don't get a dodgy fix. Make sure that your car is being repaired properly!

10.01.2022 This was a nice start to the week. 1998 Audi A4. My customer bought this as a non runner, it came with one non remote key and the remote part of the main key. The car had previously been to the dealer and they diagnosed it as a faulty key reader, so they replaced that at $860. When that didn't fix it they then diagnosed it as a faulty cluster at $1,650. The owner at the time didn't want to pay this so sold the car. We had it going within an hour of being on site as all it nee...ded was the key to be coded in. I would bet that the original owner lost the key part to their remote key and only had the non remote one left that wasn't coded to the car. Not only can we code your car keys but we can also diagnose faults that stop your car from running, which can save you a costly trip to the dealer. The best bit, we come to you!

07.01.2022 This was a nice way to end the week. My customer was told by other Locksmiths that the car had to go to the dealer. If this was my car there is no way I would be getting it dragged up a tilt tray, followed by a 3 week wait for the keys to arrive from overseas. 02.01.2022 The weather is heating up and time to get the bike out of the shed, but where is the key???? If you loose all your keys to your transponder equipped bike you could be up for thousands to get it back on the road again, I'm sure you would rather be spending that money on fuel and taking your bike for a run up the hills, right. Today was a 2008 Ducati 1090S with no key. We went on site and cut and programmed a key to get the bike going again. All work done on site and cheaper than going to the dealer. 02.01.2022 Not only is it cars and bikes that we can make keys to. Last week we had a job to make keys to two tractors that were out in the middle of the paddock. We were able to go on site and get both of them going again.

02.01.2022 Today we worked on a 2006 BMW 320i at the Airport. Whilst the customer was on holidays and the airline lost their bag, with the car keys inside...not ideal for anyone! When keys stop working properly what most people do is go and get a new key cut, but a lot of the time the new key is just a copy of your worn key. A lot of key cutters also don’t calibrate their machines regularly or properly which means that you likely won’t get an exact copy of your key.
