23.01.2022 Well it’s warming up outside and everyone is in holiday mode so it must be the end of the year and Christmas is almost upon us. Christmas in Australia....and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else... We have been very busy this year, so Thank you..... The New Year is already looking busy. Andrew and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our new clients, friends and family for your support and recommendations. We wish you and your Families a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Prosperous 2018.

23.01.2022 I know its been a while since our last post, but we have been super busy...run off our feet in fact... so Thankyou! As Christmas approaches we will be finishing up all jobs booked, and also finish opening all aircons for the summer heat, if you haven't recieved a txt from Andrew regarding your Aircon opening please contact Andy asap so we can have you up and running before the heat. We will be taking a well deserved break from 21st December to recharge ready for a big 2019. 21.01.2022 SEPTEMBER IS SPRING!! Only 2 weeks away and our days will be warming up again. When I was growing up Spring school holidays meant helping Mum clean all the windows and the Venetian Blinds and pulling down curtains to wash, cleaning out our cupboards and cleaning the carpets. Garden clean up and rubbish dump.... Tips for Spring Cleaning..... 1 When cleaning out your wardrobe / linen cupboard / kitchen cupboards. If you haven't used it in 2-5-7 years its time to move it on to someone who will use it. 2 If its past its use By Date its time to give it a heave ho. You can take your old medications to the Pharmacy for them to destroy safely. Globes/ Batteries/Old paint Tins/TVs/computer screens and all non working electrical items, call your local council depo they normally take these and dispose of them free of charge as we don't want them in landfill. Did you know you can get cash for your scrap Metal? 3 To Clean your Fridge add little Vanilla essence to your water when wiping out, this will help with any lingering smells. 4 Use Vinegar and Bi Carb soda mixed into a paste and scrub the inside of your dishwasher, brings a wonderful shine, when you run a rinse cycle Add 1 cup of vinegar and the vinegar and Bi Carb clean out the pipes and leave your dishwasher smelling clean and fresh. AND its better for the environment too. 5 Bi Carb is also great in damp cupboards, it will absorb the damp so your clothes don't get mouldy, its also great to have a tub of it in the back of your bin cupboard to soak up the smells. Replace every 6 months We've had a taste of Spring today and how wonderful to feel sunshine on your face... I've added a few Pretty photos of how Spring comes to mind, but what does Spring really look like in your home? Can we help? Window Screens in need of repair, gutters and down pipes need replacing. Fencing, Verandahs, Carports, Pergolas, Paving. Maybe your doing some work inside and need a hand putting flat packs together, hang pictures, patch the walls, hang new blinds, lay floating floor, fix the leaking taps. Hang Doors or need new doors. Spring is also the time we ready the house for the Hot Summer. Hows your Air conditioner. Does it need replacing, does your existing unit just not cool your house, getting these things looked at before summer hits will ensure your summer isn't uncomfortable. Do you want Evaporative or maybe your wanting to install reverse Cycle. The time to think about this is now. Happy Spring Cleaning!

16.01.2022 Winter is almost here and it’s time to close up your Aircon units. It helps to prevent drafts in your home, saves you money on lost heat, and stops your unit gathering unwanted water through winter. Andrew sent out txt messages to those on his txt list. If you are yet to respond to the txt and would like to have your unit secure for winter or If you aren’t on his list and would like him to close your unit please contact him directly to organise a time. 0424474097. If you would like to be on his txt list please have a chat to him while he’s there closing your unit. What is a txt list I hear you say! It means you don’t need to worry about contacting us to have your unit closed for winter or opened in summer as we do all the work of remembering for you and contact you when it is due and then organise the time.

06.01.2022 Firstly let me Thank Kate for allowing me to share her beautiful home with you all. A&J installed this Skillion veranda a few months ago. Discussions early about what the vision was for the space certainly helped. A&J installed extra supports to the structure to help support not only the future ceiling, but lighting too. This certainly helped this week when a full deck ceiling and a rendered wall with seating were installed. Having the supports already installed wasn't only time efficient but also cost effective. Screens were also erected to cover the clothes line.

05.01.2022 Coming to the end of October...... Andrew is out this week opening your air conditioners, so if you haven’t received a txt message to organise a time to service your unit and get it ready for the heat, send him a message 0424474097 to organise a time before the heat sets in. At A&J we open and service the unit and leave a reminder of a month we will contact you to close it again for the winter. So you never have to think about it again. If you want to be on the txt list ple...ase ask when you speak with Andrew. If you think you may need new pads as you haven’t changed them in the past 5-7 years, we can organise this for you just let Andrew know the unit model number. We also install Evaporative Airconditioners so if you need to upgrade or a new install get in early and beat the heat. We also organise Reverse Cycle units. 04.01.2022 It’s the end of March.....this year is flying by. The first three months of this year have been our busiest so Thankyou for your continued support. We hope this long weekend you are all enjoying the break with family and friends. It’s the official end of daylight savings and Adelaide’s Mad March festivities. Its the time we all take a breath and relax. With Cooler nights and brighter mornings. A&J are having a few days R&R too to recharge. So Happy Easter to all.
