25.01.2022 Lots of continued interest in our French Terry, even as we approach the warmer months here in Aus. I wasnt going to restock them until February, but it seems there is still many of us wearing + wanting to sew with them. Ive set up a preorder on the website if youre interested in getting your hands on some of this lovely stuff before the new year. 23.01.2022 Two other newbies to let you know about! First up, our softened, washed linen in classic Navy. Secondly a new colour in our classic 160gsm Linen - Pebble. ... A great neutral, stone / light warm grey colour. A lovely choice to tie together all of those other solids + prints in your wardrobe, when youre looking for something other than white.. 22.01.2022 Packing up lots of swatch parcels today! So many gorgeous colour palettes being put together.. Ill also be working on updating the website to allow you to shop (plan/dream ) by searching cool or warm.... I know myself being a cool colour person, sometimes its hard to find the fabrics that will work for my colouring. Some of them Im a little stuck on which category they fall into, so Ill be asking you guys on my stories today!

21.01.2022 Joanne's incredible #M7969 in our 'Caramel' linen is the garment that finally tipped me over the edge for voluminous sleeves. I resisted for so long, loving them on others, but worrying that they would be impracticable for me. I've become such a planner / wardrobe strategist that sometimes I forget to just make for joy and heart fulfilment! Does anyone experience this?! I honestly wear my mine at least twice a week + its definitely reached way beyond #30wears. My sewjo has been MIA for the last few months. Its felt a little like an extra layer of overwhelm? I think a simple knit project could help spark a little creative joy though..... Anyone else dipping their toes in this weekend after a sewing break?

19.01.2022 Hello all! A quick update on our packaging options. I listened to all of your feedback + decided it was best to offer three choices.... When placing your order with A+R you may now select your choice of packaging. Please use the drop down menu in the delivery section of the checkout page. This menu will offer you the options available to your postal address. AU customers may now choose from padded paper mailer, compostable mailer or recycled / recyclable mailer. NZ customers have the option of compostable mailers or recycled / recyclable mailers. This way, you can do what you consider the best option. I understand not all households have the the ability to compost or to receive paper parcels if your mail is delivered to an area that is not weather protected. You can read more about our plastic free packaging in the FAQ page on our website. Trin, x

I am currently speaking with an Australian based sewist who has some brilliant pattern design ideas wed love to bring you as printed fabrics sometime in the future. If you are a print lover, I would LOVE to hear from you with your suggestions on: - fabric base - weight (Roughly) - which base colours youre looking for? Light or dark suggestion welcome. - colour palette - bright, bold, pastel, monochrome, etc. with certain colours youd love to see if there are any? - scale - small / large / ridiculously enormous....
