19.01.2022 We recently completed a project for Hutchinson Builders as part of the Yeerongpilly Green Development. They were looking for alternative options for the structural refurbishment of an existing 100m long section of 1500mm stormwater that was deemed unable to be excavated and replaced due to numerous site constraints. We suggested the solution in this case to be UV cured GRP CIPP and while the use of this made it much easier than other options, the site still threw out plen...ty of challenges. - The headwall outlet ran into heavy marshland on the Brisbane River, we built a coffer dam to give the site crew access to this end of the liner while dealing with the tides in the area - Bog mats were used to minimise our impact on the marshland - A 100t crane was used to load the job and ensure we did not damage any of the local trees - To cap it off, Cyclone Oma formed during our planned window for the works and we were monitoring its path through the setup process to ensure a safe and true liner cure All in all, a great project to be a part of, we enjoy the challenge and learn something from every project to take into the next one. 12.01.2022 Our 24/7 emergency crew was called out to repair a DN150 civil line due to root ingress. On this night, 3 patches were installed on the same sewerage line where damages in the pipe had been identified during an inspection after overflowing had been reported on multiple occasions.
