23.01.2022 Take 100% responsibility for how you turn up this week and watch momentum turn up.

12.01.2022 Should you invest in Marketing? I had an interesting conversation last night with a business owner who was spending $3000 per month on Digital marketing. I asked the question for $3000 what return are you getting?... Answer: 50 leads per month. Great what is your conversion rate I asked? 50%. That’s great and what is your average dollar sale? $107 was the reply. Excellent and how often does that customer spend with you in the month I asked? 2 was the reply. So lets look at the numbers shall we? 50 leads coming in with a 50 % conversion rate = 25 customers. Each customer spends $107 twice in the month = $214 Average spend per customer per month. The marketing and conversion process = 25 customers So if we take 25 (no of customers) and multiply it by $214 (the average monthly spend) we get $5350 total sales for the month from new clients. Now these customers are not under any contract or minimum term so they could leave at the end of the month with 30 days notice if they don’t see value. If we now take those numbers and assume that the customer only stays on for a month then the figures would look like this. 25 customers per month for 12 months equals 300 new customers in total. 300 (customers) * $214 ( Average spend per month ) = $64,200 in new revenue to the business Marketing spend for 12 months = $36,000 The questions will come around if they work hard on the value that they offer to the customer will they keep these customers for longer? So now lets take the same conversion rate at 50% and apply it to the retention of customers. So they keep 50 % of the customers for 6 months. 50% of 25 (customers) = 12.5 let’s round it down to 12 to make it easy. So 12 customers now spend $214 per month for 6 months = $15,408 in revenue for 6 months plus the revenue from the 50% of customers that only stayed for 1 month = 13 customers * $214 = $2782 in revenue plus the $15408 = $18,190 for the investment of $3000. If you repeat this for 12 months = $218,280 total revenue for a $36,000 investment. Where I can help is to help you as a business to improve your conversion rate, improve your sales process, help retain your clients, and create value so that you are keeping these hard earned clients for longer. Why did I do this exercise? Most people just say they want more leads but I believe that there are other areas you should consider before you just go and get more leads. It’s important that before you go and get more leads you ensure that you have improved your conversion rate, improved your average dollar sale, and improved your spending frequency to maximise the leads that you are getting from your marketing. Then look at how to improve the retention rate of your new clients and hay presto your business is firing on all cylinders. Our 2690 program can help you with this.
