25.01.2022 What a great honour it is to receive the Highly Commended award, for Works on Paper, in this years Maitland Region Society of Artists Members Exhibition. The quality of art on display is truly outstanding. I encourage you all to make an effort to come and see for yourself. The exhibition is open untl 4PM this afternoon and between 10AM and 3PM on Sunday, at St James Anglican Hall, Morpeth.

24.01.2022 This weekend the Maitland Black & White Committee held their annual Woodville Wander fundraiser. On Saturday I had the pleasure of representing the Maitland Region Society of Artists, painting en plein air at Tressingfield. Painting in front of so many people was quite foreign to me but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and cant wait to do it again next year.

21.01.2022 Yesterday I attended the 10 year celebration of the Maitland Region Art Gallery which included the launch of 8 new exhibitions. One of those exhibitions is, "A Poem For Maitland In Celebration Of The Maitland Region Society Of Artists 21st Birthday". Each artist was asked to create a piece of art which celebrates what Maitland means to them. The titles of each piece was then cleverly arranged to create a poem celebrating Maitland. The exhibition runs until 24Nov19 and entry is free, so drop in and have a look!
