23.01.2022 We had the pleasure of handing over this home in Meningie yesterday. So much to love about this build. Our clients placed so much trust in professional advice from the very beginning and as a result they now have a beautifully resolved home that takes in sweeping views of the lake. This home faces true north, which coupled with the use of polished concrete floors and rammed earth walls, means even on the coldest of Winter's days, this home is a comfortable temperature on the ...inside. Some of the other extra special features include: rammed earth walls in the main bedroom and walk-in-robe! A ducted vacuum system, blonde oak internal doors in the main living area, custom made joinery throughout and a servery bench in the walk-in-pantry leading onto one of the 2 alfresco areas.

23.01.2022 Handed over this little gem in Nairne this morning. There is so much to love both inside and out, it's hard to pinpoint a favourite element. The views from almost every window are simply breathtaking - from the rolling hills, to large established gums and even the neighbours cows.... And while the views and the large picture windows that take in those views are stunning, there's also the beautiful Basket Range stone that has been featured throughout. And that's all before we even get to the internal fit out which includes floating timber vanities, a freestanding bath in the ensuite & a tiled feature to the kitchen island bench. As I said - So. Much. To. Love. At the beginning of this design and build journey our client was nervous about ALL of the design decisions she was going to have to make. But now that we're at the end - I think we can confidently say - she smashed it out of the park.

But because, this lovely couple needed to re-build their home after their original farmhouse burnt down. And I think the tough thing about being forced into a build is that you haven't had months of planning and Pinterest pinning and Instagram stalking to work out what it is that you love.... But this beautiful couple really trusted the draftsman and our team to guide them through the process and make suggestions along the way. I'm not sure what I'm loving more - the Basket Range Sandstone feature walls, the Blackbutt flooring or all of that glorious natural light? 10.01.2022 - Bugle Ranges Project - Our beautiful clients had the house looking absolutely on point a couple of weeks ago in preparation for the HIA judges to take a wander through. Regardless of whether this home picks up an award at this year's event, it will always remain a project that we're incredibly proud of. ... One of the biggest projects we've ever undertaken and set on top of a hill that cops quite a bit of weather, this build certainly presented it's challenges. 09.01.2022 Team AMC hard at work this week putting the finishing touches on this incredible Blackbutt timber flooring that we've installed in our Newenham Estate project. In this particular project, the Blackbutt flooring against the locally sourced Basket Range Stone are definitely the two heroes. But 2 other important elements that add to the grandeur of the space are the abundance of natural light and the 3m ceiling height. There's something about the use of natural materials that creates an immediate sense of warmth and homeliness in a new build.
