13.01.2022 Aboriginal and community organisations in the Northern Territory say they are worried the Federal Government will try and force welfare recipients onto its Cashless Debit Card (CDC) scheme. AASW has put multiple submission suggesting that the CDC scheme is against the principle of self-determination and will impact the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities disproportionately.
