21.01.2022 Congratulations to Aimee Sawtell, who was named most Outstanding Student at Charles Darwin University’s beauty and hairdressing prize giving event in Alice Springs this week. The Certificate III hair dressing apprentice wants to take her trade on the road, and become a hairdresser in outback Australia. I’m saving up for a red four-wheel drive, said Aimee, who loves to go bush and to camp under the stars.... Hairdressing is my ticket to the future. Once I’m qualified, I might take it to the road, she said. Best wishes with your future Aimee, we hope to bump into you on your travels!



20.01.2022 There is a lot of data available related to the VET and Australian Apprenticeships sectors and more broadly, around the employment market. During OctoberVET 2020, held by the Australasian Vocational Education Research Assocation (Avetra), AATIS hosted a webinar with the National Centre for Vocational Education Research to introduce users to the range of data available. During the webinar a large number of questions were received. Many were able to be answered during the session.
