14.01.2022 In recent months I've had numerous calls from people buying a house. They explain that the company doing the pest & building inspection have found termite activity, however they dont do termite treatments. The 1st call I got like this I found peculiar but now it seems to be quite common. I say to the person, that is the equivalent of taking your car to a mechanic, have them diagnose the problem and then tell you they cant fix said problem. Just a word of warning if you are buying a house, always ask if they do termite treatments as well as the inspection.

09.01.2022 I walked into a customers backyard this morning and thought I'd walked into a swarm of bees. But after watching a few land i was amazed to witness something i have never seen before. Hundreds of tiny dragonflies. These little creatures were everywhere.

09.01.2022 I often have customers ask "how do you tell if a termite station is active" & " do they actually work" As you can see its very easy to tell when a station is active and yes they work very well.

08.01.2022 I get this on a weekly basis. Customers telling me places like bunnings, sold them treated timbers stating - "theres no way they will be attacked by termites". There is nothing worse then someone ill informing a customer due to lack of knowledge or to simply make a sale.

08.01.2022 Just when I thought I'd heard it all. This week I received a text from somebody selling their house. It was sent along with photos saying that a pest and building inspector found these "non wood eating termites" and that the homeowner need not worry. The home owner then asked if I would be interested in removing these termite workings as it was the inspectors recommendation. ( disturbance of termite workings will result in a zero chance of eradicating a termite colony !!! ).... I explained to the home owner that none of the above info was even remotely accurate and to definitely not take this "inspectors" advice.. I haven't seen the property 1st hand, but judging by the termite workings, it appears to be a species known as microcerotermes. Renowned for excavating through gyprock walls and of course consuming timber. Pay peanuts get monkeys.
