25.01.2022 AAVA will be in attendance at Ironfest in Lithgow again this April. A fantastic opportunity to see these historic vehicles in again. There will be a static display as well as Ferret Scout Car Jousting and fire power displays with the main guns.

13.01.2022 Different AAVA Saracen in Hong Kong. 1970s

13.01.2022 Tilly earns enough credit points to move inside the Tank Shed, well actually the truth is that the outside possie was needed for other activities. In any case I'm really happy the old beast now has a roof over its head. Probably the first time in more than a decade if not more. Gave me time to clean out the leaf litter and other grime from the tub.

12.01.2022 ex British Army M548, imported to Australia and used by a Tasmanian drilling company to transport drill cores. The removal of the load area sides were modifications to improve unloading. Purchased and transported to NSW by another owner and then acquired by an AAVA member. The vehicle is currently being restored to military configuration. The sides have been restored and new hood bows manufactured, it is awaiting space in the AAVA "Tank Shed" expected in the next few weeks before it moves in and the mechanical work can commence.

11.01.2022 The best part about this video of a busted Saracen bevel is that there are still spare parts. 1953 and still going strong.

10.01.2022 Stuart tank from river!

05.01.2022 Diana taking the Tilly out for a spin in the paddock where it later got some much needed green paint.
