24.01.2022 With a few months between posts I would like to thank all my wonderful clients who I have been working with throughout this time I have some exciting news I will now be running 1:1 sessions on Wednesday afternoons, as well as Monday’s and Saturday mornings ... 20.01.2022 Happy New Year After a little break over the Christmas/New Year period sessions will be resuming on Saturday 9th I will be also be working to return all enquiries we received over the break over the coming days We hope you all got to enjoy a little break and spend time with family, friends and most importantly your fur kids ... 16.01.2022 As a dog trainer and behavioural consultant, I believe it’s vital to stay up to date with the latest research and techniques which can then be passed onto my clients Over the last two years I have been studying my Diploma in Canine Behaviour, and after completing it earlier this month, I am now a qualified Canine Practitioner through the International School for Canine Psychology and Behaviour The ISCP uphold values which I include in my session with clients and their d...ogs, which centers around positive and compassionate methods! 11.01.2022 Are you motivating your dog to work for you? Reward value matters! The rewards we use have different values to our dogs. These can be high (smelly, only get occasionally, tasty etc) or low (dry food they get all the time, manufactured boring treats that are hard to eat etc). Think of rewards as monetary value, would you work for $5 p/h? Your dog is less likely to stay motivated and work for you for a dry biscuit, but would they for a piece of delicious chicken? ... Find out what motivates your dogs (doesn’t have to be food, can be praise, toys ect), how much they value it and use this to your advantage. Your rewards have different values and it is good to change it up (as if we constantly use the same reward they value may decrease), but just ensure your dog is getting paid adequately for the work they are putting in

I can’t wait to see you all in 2021 for another funfill, puppy loving year
