24.01.2022 Today is International Men's Day, so this is a shout out to all the great men in our lives. Great Dads, uncles, friends and colleagues. Did you know that ABA has a number of men who work within our organisation at all levels. We certainly thank them for making the association more diverse everyday.

13.01.2022 Our thoughts go out to all those families in our community who were hit hard by Saturday’s storm. We are sure you are in good hands with the SES, emergency services and local community support. As always the ABA helpline is available 24/7 for parents needing breastfeeding support if your circumstance changed or you need someone to talk to. https://www.breastfeeding.asn.au//infant-feeding-emergenci

11.01.2022 We are looking for a mum who would like to demonstrate breastfeeding at Ipswich's next Breastfeeding Education Class. The class usually has around 10 mums and dad attending. Preferably bub would be 3 months or younger. The timing can be flexible to suit bub so anytime between 1-5 is okay. You will need to be an ABA member to volunteer for this. If you are interested then please contact Daniele at [email protected] for more information.

08.01.2022 Sharing these beautiful calendars.once your finished with the month, you can also cut them out and they make beautiful pictures for a frame.

04.01.2022 When you’re a new mum or dad, you need information that’s easy to access and easy to understand. You need to know it’s from a source you can trust. Most of all ...you need support and understanding from people who know what you’re going through with the changes a new baby brings. ABA was started in 1964 by a group of mums in a suburban loungeroom who wanted to breastfeed their babies and support each other. Fast forward to today and ABA is still supporting mothers to breastfeed their babies. Our new podcast and blog ‘Breastfeeding with ABA’ is backed by 56 years of wisdom and, thanks to ABA’s Breastfeeding Information and Research team, is supported with up-to-date information that you can trust. In our first season we focus on breastfeeding new babies ... we are excited to announce the topics for our first four episodes: - Introducing Breastfeeding with ABA - Early days: what do you need to know? - The juice on when my milk comes in - Ouch! What happens when nipples crack?
