25.01.2022 We see a lot of vehicles that have been run on e10 have fuel system problems and damaged/blocked injectors. For the amount of money you save on this type of fuel it costs way more in repairs in the long run. Our advise dont use E10 fuel.

23.01.2022 Hes a cool project were doing at the moment. Putting this old TA22 celica back together for a customer. Its been in pieces for 10 years and has an absolutely stunning paint job. Well keep you up to date with pics over the next couple of months.

19.01.2022 Had the twins together the other week. Not very often we see them out and about these days.

18.01.2022 This is Ryans tidy Xr6t. Has a stage 2 process west intercooler setup and piping on it now. We fitted the hot side pipe last week. Very neat kit.

18.01.2022 The importance of timing belt replacement. This lancer came in on a tow truck and we started poking around and found the crank angle sensor was faulty. On further investigation we found the tensioner bearing for the timing belt had let go and smashed the sensor. Lucky for the owner this stopped the engine and avoided a major issue bending the valves in the engine. Most of the time if the belt comes off it would cause a lot more damage resulting in the cylinder head having to be removed and repairs carried out to the inlet and exhaust valves. This can be very expensive. These belts have set replacement intervals that should be followed to avoid extra cost.

17.01.2022 These are some pics of some very overdue filters that we replaced. The air filter pictured was very blocked and wAs literally sucking into the intake pipe causing high fuel usage. The other filter is a diesel filter that had done its normal 40000k interval. You can see how much dirt it has filtered. And the spark plugs.... you can see there is an issue with the middle one.

17.01.2022 Dont forget we do air conditioning repairs and servicing so book in and beat the heat. Heres an air con repair job from the other day on a Ford Fiesta. Seems you have to remove the whole front from the car to access the condenser.

13.01.2022 The Subaru is finally back together. Many hours and sweat and a bit of blood put into this car. Shes booked in for its run in tune on the 24th and we are expecting big things this time. It made 500hp last time and ran a best of 11.1 second quarter mile. We are hoping to it will crack into the 10s this time. Chris the owner has done a lot of research on all components of this machine and hopefully it will pay off for him. Well keep you posted as the new figures come through. Cant wait to go for a spin.

13.01.2022 We took the green machine out on the track yesterday. Heres a few pics taken by 4020 media. The HSV is one of our close friends cars. And its way quicker than the green beast.

09.01.2022 Its important to get your car checked regularly, especially if your brakes are grinding. This is what happens when you run out of brakes and keep driving. This could have caused a major accident and costs lot more to fix than if its sorted out while you vehicle is being regularly serviced.

06.01.2022 This is our mate Aarons Harley he brought to us a few weeks ago to fit some progressive rear suspension and lower it a couple of inches. It turned out pretty good and looks great.

04.01.2022 Here is a prime example of a poorly serviced vehicle. This corolla has very low ks but has missed a few services. There is no way to properly clean this out with out pulling the motor apart. Changing your oil regularly is very important for your engines health.

03.01.2022 This Mazda CX-7 came in running rough and the engine light on. We found the fuel injectors were blocked. It wasnt an easy job to remove them and turned one of them was not repairable. After this we would now recommend removing and cleaning the injectors every 100000ks. Only down side is its not a cheap exercise, but replacing ones that cannot be cleaned is more expensive as each injector is $580 from Mazda and the seals are around $300 for a full set.

02.01.2022 We get a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander in yesterday with an oil leak. Its an ex rental. Found this. The time it took to cut the top off the sump plug and weld a new head on it then add a heap of washers to it for it not to seal. . $10 for a new one. Would have been a lot easier and cleaner.
