22.01.2022 Lot One Elizabeth Quay Project, the activity continues for the Abaxa onsite ATCO Gas Approved locator. Some pretty impressive cranes being erected & tested, if you look closely at the pictures you can see the person halfway up testing this structure. This tower project is to be constructed for the next few years, expecting to finish in 2023. #safety #ATCOGas #DBYD #ElizabethQuay #Multiplex

21.01.2022 Abaxa continuing the Lot 1 Elizabeth Quay Development project, once complete the structure will comprise 29 levels and 54,000 sqm of office floor space; able to house approximately 3,000 people. In addition Abaxa are providing services on the newly commenced Chevron office. 13.01.2022 Ground patrolling on the Parmelia Gas Pipeline, Abaxa have a focus on safety, especially the public. The pipeline condition surveillance involves protection of the pipeline asset. The patrol runs weekdays to identify conditions or occurrences within the vicinity of the pipeline which may present a threat to the integrity of the pipeline & associated facilities. Abaxa are patrolling for conditions or occurrences potentially caused by third party activity in the vicinity of the... pipeline including excavation or vehicle crossings & natural events including flooding, fire, erosion or vegetation growth. The ground patrolling also requires Abaxa to be proactive in environmental management, while accessing the prescribed route. As part of the DBYD Certified Safety Practices for locating at a project site, the use of facility records & a visual inspection process to gather site information to determine any hazards, soil conditions, trenches, pits, bores, standing water & potentially any dangerous physical obstructions that may impact the ...safety of employees & the community at the project site and find suitable solutions. At a current project for Bentley TAFE Development the Abaxa DBYD Certified Locator was challenged by numerous internal pits discovered during the visual inspection process that were not planned and required an extensive investigation to survey for the architectural design.
