GPs and other health professionals in four regions will receive greater support to enable them to provide more effective care to people with intellectual disability. The Morrison Government will provide a total of $5.75 million to four Primary Health Networks to lead development of the Primary Care Enhancement Program for people with intellectual disability.... I’ve enjoyed getting to know participants quite well and finding out about what their likes and dislikes are. Being able to create care plans that really match that person. It’s a great environment. We are like a big family here. It’s a pleasure to come to work and work along everyone ".

11.01.2022 The Queensland Government has introduced new legislation that will see the fine for drivers who illegally park in spaces reserved for people with disabilities more than doubled. Under the new rules the current fine will increase from $266 to $533. This increased penalty will make it the third largest fine for parking in an area reserved for those with a disability.
